In 1948, Franklin "Skip" Denison's father, after whom he was named, started Broward Marine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In 1975, Skip began to manage the yard and repair business for Broward, where he increased the gross and net revenue by five times within an 11-year period for Broward Marine.
In 1977, Broward started a new plant in Saugatuck, Michigan to take advantage of an extremely talented and experienced workforce along the West Michigan shoreline. In 1986, Skip began his own enterprise, Skipper’s Oil, servicing shipyards and marinas throughout Florida. He returned to his first love, yachting, in June 2008, when he joined the yacht brokerage business at Tower Marine in Saugatuck, where he was the top salesman.
Skip later joined Downeast Yachting and was responsible for selling new Sabre Yachts and Back Coves in West Palm Beach, Florida and Michigan.
Skip joined Denison Yacht Sales in 2012 and specializes in the sale of superyachts over 80', Downeast-style yachts, express cruisers, center consoles, sportfish, and, of course, brokerage Browards.
In addition to calling Palm Beach Gardens and Fort Lauderdale home, Skip spends his summer months in Montauk, New York.
