INVADER is a trideck motor yacht featuring an on-deck master, his and her baths, owners office, gym or 6th stateroom on the main deck, four guest suites below and an elevator to all decks. Both the main deck and the bridge deck outside are open, and the sun deck is massive. The garage is large with ample room for water toys and tender. The stunning interior uses a blend of pearwood, sycamore, and American cherry. Intricate designs using inlays of hand selected onyx and marble are used as flooring in the foyers, baths and dining room giving an artistic feel to the interior.

LOWER DECK
Four guest staterooms, two queens, and two twins are accessed from the salon via the elevator or from the circular stairs leading to a foyer. The crew area is spacious and is accessed using stairs from the galley. Crew accommodations consist of four double crew cabins, three with upper and lower berths, one engineer’s cabin with double berth, crew mess/lounge, and laundry. Queen berth Captain’s cabin is aft of the wheelhouse.

MAIN DECK
Entering from the large open aft deck through stainless steel glass sliding doors into an elegant foyer with cabinetry on port and starboard and an artistically done marble floor with onyx inlays. The salon has comfortable sofas and coffee tables on the port side and to starboard with a third table and sofa against the forward half wall which separates the salon from the dining room. Enter the beautifully appointed formal dining room from the salon. The dining room features an oval burl top table with inlaid wood and 10 chairs. The flooring is artistically done with marble, inlaid onyx, and carpet. Through a service door, port side is the galley. Going forward on starboard from the dining room is the amidship foyer which leads to the master. The foyer has the same beautiful marble and onyx flooring as in the dining room with artwork elegantly displayed along the wall. There is access to the elevator, day head, stairs to the upper and lower decks and to the gym which doubles as the sixth guest cabin using Pullman berths and an ensuite head.

Entering the owner’s suite pass through the office which is furnished with glass top desk, two chairs, sofa, and bookcase. Next forward is the master stateroom which has a king bed, sofa, vanity and walk in closet. Forward of the stateroom are his and her heads with a bathtub in between. Outboard on the port side is an enclosed shower/steam room. As with the entire boat, this area is also rich in details: satin finished sycamore paneling and counters that were cut from a single slab of gray onyx. The sole uses gray and honey onyx.

BRIDGE DECK
Forward of the wheelhouse is the Portuguese bridge and guest lounge area that has a forward facing semicircular settee, a round table and four chairs. This table also has leaves that can be installed enlarging it to accommodate 14 guests.

The wheelhouse has three helm seats, raised bench seat and access to the ship’s office to port. To starboard is the queen berth captain’s cabin with ensuite head. The wheelhouse is followed aft by a day head to starboard opposite a pantry to port, stairs to the lower deck and access to the elevator.

Next aft is the large sky lounge which is used as the main entertaining area on this series of Codecasa’s. It has a fully equipped bar with four bar stools. There are two sitting areas, each with a sofa and upholstered chairs and coffee table. Additionally, there is a card table with four chairs. Through the aft stainless-steel sliding door is the bridge deck aft deck with a teak table and four chairs, stairs to the lower deck and up to the sun deck.

SUN DECK
The sun deck is immense. Forward is a sun pad area followed by the large Jacuzzi to port opposite a bar
with four bar stools and a teak table with four chairs, and davit. This table area seats up to 8 guests. Unique to INVADER is the mast which has a built-on observation platform ten feet off of the deck that is accessed by a ladder. Also concealed by the mast is the elevator access.

OWNER’S REMARKS

  • The boat was one of the first with a Linn System where audio can be accessed anywhere throughout the boat with individual controls for music selection, volume, etc.
  • There are 10 Direct TV receivers so each guest room, crew and living areas have their individual choice of over 150 plus channels. The boat was wired for the Invader Channel so that on Channel 1 there is a mast camera, another channel can have the menus or events of the day. All staterooms have what we call the magic cable. It has 2 double shielded RG6 coax cables, cat 5 wires, and fiber optics. The cable has never been used as we did it for future technology changes.
  • After lengthy discussions with the builder, Fulvio Codecasa, almost every light on the boat is on dimmers. This was a first with Codescasa.
  • There is a 40 KW converter to convert the European voltage and frequency to US and every plug is both European and American.
  • Bathrooms: All fixtures are 24 Carat gold plated. There is a steam room in the port bathroom of the master suite.
  • Details: The outside overheads on the main deck and bridge deck are very detailed, even compared to Delta or Feadship Yachts.
  • Structure: All port holes have 6 to 8 inches of stainless steel around them, the rail cap in the main hull is stainless, and it has two hydraulic boarding ladders on both sides of the boat that tuck into the hull and are not visible. All surrounded with stainless steel.
  • After visiting many yachts at boat shows and those that have docked next to us Invader is one of the most detailed yachts I have seen.
  • The mandate on the decor, which won the 2000 Showboats Award for best interior, was earth tones, elegant but comfortable and timeless.
