… the Fountaine Pajot Motor Yacht Summerland 40 LC is this year’s winner!

Leading the way for the La Rochelle shipyard Fountaine Pajot’s Motor Yachts range, the Summerland 40 LC has topped the tables in the liveable boats category.

Some members of our panel were taking their first forays into the world of catamarans, and were impressed with the spaciousness of the boat’s interior, its stability and its navigational performance, especially in the choppy conditions we were exposed to.

The three stunning double cabins were a unanimous hit, with an owner’s cabin located on the starboard hull boasting a “sea view”. The sleek, contemporary interior design was also much appreciated. Its moderate energy consumption, autonomy and 40% less fuel consumption compared to monohulls as well as its responsiveness combined to tip the scales in its favor.
