The French Riviera is home to the Cannes Film Festival, which attracts the world’s most glamorous people and outrageous superyachts. To experience some of the largest and most high-end yachts from around the globe, you need to attend the Cannes Yachting Festival in September.

The Benetti Vivace 125 shares the distinctive construction, technology, style, and spatial layout with Benetti’s Flagship, the Veloce 140. It also features an innovative Rolls-Royce propulsion system, a wave piercing hull, and is built of composite materials including carbon fiber.

The hull is over 27-feet wide and is devided into three decks that sport bold styling and plenty of horizontal windows to accentuate the Vivace’s sleek lines. The hot tub and comfortable lounge area in the bow is sure to be a hit along with the huge aft deck area that provides a lucky owner and guests with a livingroom on the water.

After celebrating its 160th anniversary last year, Baglietto Yachts will be unveiling their stunning 150-foot superyacht named Only One,and their 141-foot FAST design called Pachamama. Both vessels have been designed by Francesco Paszkowski, the latter in cooperation with architect Margherita Casprini. Only One, is built of steel and aluminum and is defined by classic lines and capable of achieving moderate (12-to 17-knots) speeds.

While the 141-foot Pachamama marks Baglietto’s new era by preserving the sleek and aggressive lines that have always been a distinctive feature of Baglietto while also being capable of cruising up to almost 30-knots.

Measuring in an just over 104 feet, Seawave by the Southern Wind Shipyard in South Africa is sure to draw a crowd as the largest sailing yacht at the this year’s Festival.

It features an open main saloon with panoramic windows on the coach roof and spacious studio amidships that separates the main saloon from the owner’s large private quarters.

If some super yachts can be described as “flashy,” the Sanlorenzo 460EXP has way more to offer than just good looks and big staterooms. It’s a purpose-built world explorer with all the high tech and comfort you’d expect of any superyacht but it also delivers significant cruising self-sufficiency and endurance. And its superstructure is shifted forward to leave vast space on the main deck astern for a large tender (up to 30-feet), water-toys, sailing or fishing boats, surf boards to be stored while cruising.

When at anchor and free of equipment, the main deck becomes an enormous portable sundeck that features a large and heated “endless swimming pool” that allows guests to cool off and even swim against an artificial current!

The Invictus 280 GT is new and striking enough to make this must-see list in spite of being under 30-feet because it has elegant design features that strike a fantastic balance between form and function. The peculiar bow’s shape is more stable and provides much more interior more interior space compared to more conventional designs. It can however carry up to eight passengers in comfort and it’s also equipped with a powerful engine capable of providing a top speed of 38 knots.
