From great weather to so many boat debuts, not to mention the relationships established working with great clients and co workers, we spy our top 10 favorite shots at the 2016 Miami Boat Show at Yachts Miami Beach (previously named Miami Yacht & Brokerage Show) and Miami International Boat Show.
At 253 feet long with a top speed of 27 knots, the world’s largest and fastest aluminum yacht made her US debut at Island Gardens marina during the show. SIlverfast was completed in 2015 by Silver Yachts in Australia, and has an asking price of $90 million.
Why choose between your yacht and your car when you can have both? The 164′ Couach M/Y La Pellegrina built in 2012, caught plenty of attention at its Collins Avenue location during the show by featuring a bright white Corvette Z06 in her tender garage.
Yachts Miami Beach after dark welcomed visitors for nightly events, including Thursday night’s party at Beneteau, celebrating the launch of their brand new GT 40 and GT 46 power vessels.
Miami Boat Show enjoyed 5 new debuts including at Yachts Miami Beach including the Carver C50, Beneteau 46 GT, 40 GT, Monte Carlo MC6, and pocket trawler Beneteau 30 ST. Look for these vessels at the upcoming Palm Beach Boat Show too.
Making her debut at the Strictly Sail boat show at Bayside Marina, this carbon fibre/carbon mast sailing vessel was built for racing and was definitely turning some heads at this year’s show.
This land-loving 29-foot amphibious boat from Iguana Yachts was seen cruising around Miami harbor throughout the show, giving lucky visitors a chance to she what she can do. Constructed of carbon fiber with custom-designed landing gear and rubber tracks, the Iguana 29 reaches top speeds of 35 knots on water and 5 mph on land. She features Italian leather, teak decks, and fine Saint-Louis crystal glassware.
While Yachts Miami Beach at Collins Ave. and Strictly Sail remained at the same locations, Yachts Miami Beach added a display location for superyachts at Watson Island.
