The Veloce 140 is Benetti’s response to the growing fast-displacement trend, her most distinguishing feature. The new D2P hull designed was by Pierluigi Ausonio Naval Architecture Studio and the Azimut|Benetti Research and Development Center.

The most obvious advantages consist of the energy-saving, 12-knot cruising speed and the ability to travel at high speeds (over 20 knots) in total comfort. Benetti Veloce 140 – a semi-custom yacht with a D2P (Displacement to Planing) hull – is an innovative project that excites both Benetti enthusiasts, eager for greater speed, and those who are approaching the Tuscan shipbuilder for the first time, in the knowledge of being able to rely on high-performing yachts with comfortable displacement speeds.

Because American yacht owners and guests crave a combination of sun and shade when out on deck, the Veloce 140 comes with a sliding soft top. It offers nice flexibility for alfresco dining and drinks. It probably also makes it easier for the owners and their families to watch their favorite football team on the TV by the bar.

The Veloce 140 is available with a choice of three decor packages: Air, Land, and Sea. Air, characterized by light tones and an overall modern look. (Land is more traditional, while Sea is midway between modern and traditional.) Benetti tapped Redman Whiteley Dixon for the designs. The owners additionally brought in their own designer.

With her 35,000 fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 1,250 nautical miles at 12 knots. Her water tanks store around 4,000 of fresh water.
