Denison Attends Beneteau, Hatteras Events, Wins Prizes

Beneteau America has named Denison Yacht Sales its 2016 “Powerboat Dealer of the Year.”

The award was presented at Groupe Beneteau’s dealer meeting this week in Sarasota, where more than 300 dealers from North America and worldwide gathered to hear about the company’s plans for its American and European boat brands and hear from new Groupe Beneteau Americas CEO George Armendariz. 

This is the third year in a row Denison has won the award. Owner Bob Denison, New Yachts CEO Nereus Dastur and Yacht Broker Kevin Frawley were on hand to accept it. 

“It was really exciting to see the product improvements in the works for 2017 and get a look at new models that are coming out for 2018,” Frawley said. 

Palm Beach-based Yacht Broker Alex Wilkes was awarded his third “Top Gun” award, which recognizes Beneteau Power’s highest performing salesman of the year, and Yacht Broker Jimmy Mathews took 3rd place in the category. 

Denison Service Managers Gilles Milon and Bob McCann and Denison’s Service Department were honored with Beneteau Power’s Dedication Award, in recognition of their exceptional efforts and attitude. 

Frawley also attended the Hatteras dealers meeting this week in Fort Lauderdale, which offered an inside look at the status of the company and upcoming models that will be unveiled in 2017. 

In the last 12 months, Hatteras has received 27 orders, and the Hatteras 70 motoryacht continues to be successful. Currently, only 2018 models are available.
