This weekend saw heavy traffic on Denison boats at shows on both sides of the country.
Denison had a great presence at the Newport International Boat Show, with boats in both parts of the show and an office adjacent to each.
Denison had three boats in this year’s show:
The Newport show, which took place along the historic Newport Harbor, also featured the debut of Bertram Yachts’ 35-footer, which is reminiscent of the popular Bertram 31.
Across the country, the Seattle Boats Afloat show usually kicks off the fall and winter buying season, and this year was no exception. Denison had 5 new boats in this year’s show: a 49 Gran Turismo, 40 Gran Turismo, 44 Swift Trawler, 34 Swift Trawler, and a 30 Swift Trawler, and we found happy new owners for the 49 Gran Turismo and 34 Swift Trawler, as well as got a great many people interested in the other GTs and STs.
“The favorites were the Swift Trawler 44 and the brand new Gran Turismo 40, which can easily seat 12 in its roomy cockpit for partying on Lake Washington, while housing a family of four to six for trips to the San Juan Islands,” said Denison Seattle Yacht Broker Byron Shirley.
The popular Boats Afloat show took place on South Lake Union and featured a variety of watercraft ranging from a standup paddleboard that converts to a rowing scull and a motorized surfboard that can reach speeds up to 35 mph to luxury motor and sailing yachts.
