42′ Yellowfin Center Console Walkthrough Video

This particular 42′ Yellowfin center console has found a new home, but this walkthrough offers you an idea of the general layout and overall features of this type of boat. Join us as we take a look at “The Office”:

Welcome to Annapolis, Maryland. Today we’ll be taking you onboard The Office. She is a 42 Yellowfin, powered by quad Mercury Verados with a total of 1200 horsepower. She will be heading down to South Florida soon for the fall boating season. Let’s take a quick walkthrough.

Beginning at the power plant, these Mercury Verado 300s will certainly get you to your favorite fishing spot in a hurry. They have been properly maintained since new and are in great condition. You’ll also find LED underwater lights in this area as well.

Stepping into the cockpit you’ll notice you have plenty of space to fish, thanks to her 12-foot beam. Underneath the aft seating is a large livewell that’s easily accessible. Behind the helm is a convenient storage area. On the port side is your designated fish cleaning station and to starboard is another huge livewell. Let’s take a closer look.

Moving forward to the helm you have three comfortable seats with bolsters and underneath this seating is access to your Fischer Panda generator. At the helm you’ll see everything is positioned nicely and within easy reach. You have your Garmin 5215 with NavNet, Furuno electronics in the center including Furuno HD radar, electronic engine controls and access to your Max Power bow thruster.

Continuing forward is a large seating area that features storage underneath. The port side storage compartment includes a chill plate and forward of that that seating area; you have access to several additional storage compartments. And you can see that the center compartment has yet another chill plate to keep all your drinks nice and cool.

Moving toward the bow is more seating; there are also cushions for this area. And all the way forward is access to your anchor and windlass. The Office is fitted with a custom Palm Beach tower. This area also has Furuno navigation with NavNet. And from here you can easily access your Rupp spreader outriggers.

Let’s head down below and check out the cabin. We have a berth large enough to sleep two adults comfortably. You have a microwave above on the starboard side and aft is your full head including stand-up shower. There’s also a flatscreen TV down here as well.
