This one-of-a-kind yacht was started by Savannah Yachts and completed by Hinckley. She is loaded with options and was first splashed in January of 2010 with a list price of $1,700,000! Join us as we take a walkthrough of this pristine yacht:
Hi, I’m like Blake Nichol with Denison Yacht Sales and today I’ll be walking you through this 54 Savannah, here in Miami, Florida.
Beginning aft of Luck you’ll notice she’s equipped with hydraulic swim platform for her Novurania tender as well as a large storage compartment for lines, fenders and whatever wash gear you need.
As we enter the cockpit you’ll notice the ease of access from either side of the swim platform. You’ll also notice this beautiful custom-built sunshade, ample seating area for you and your guests. That is also a high-low table, so you can turn this into a sunpad.
Coming forward you’ll see her optional electric canyon grill as well as a stainless steel sink, and you have an ice-maker to the starboard side below that as well as a refrigerator. Also here in the cockpit you’ll notice the engine room access that is fitted with the optional hydraulic arm to raise and lower at the push of a button. She’s powered by twin MAN 900 horsepower common rail diesels.
So now we’re in the salon of the 54 Savannah where the first thing you’ll notice is the amount of natural light that it brought in by the engineering behind this express style yacht with the large glass sunroof that is retractable as well as the front windshield that is allowing a lot of natural light in.
Speaking of natural light you also have this aft style window that opens up to the cockpit. It lowers with the push of a button as well as the two side doors that will also open. Also in the salon, you’ll have a flat screen TV that pops out of this entertainment center. She also spins around so that she is viewable from the cockpit.
On the port side you’ll notice this large dining area where you can easily seat up to 5 guests. Moving forward you have the helm area. You’ll notice at the helm you have dual 15-inch displays, all the electronics are Raymarine including the radar. She’s also got electronic engine controls as well as a bow and stern thruster which makes docking a breeze. Another unique feature is the dual Pompanette helm chairs – both are equipped with footrest and both are also electronic that move up and down, forward and back as well as side to side.
As you walk down from the salon, the first thing you’re going to notice is the natural light continues into this area; making it feel nice and open. To the starboard side you have this dinette that also is high low table with a filled cushion to make another berth. You also have a flatscreen TV as well as an entertainment center with surround sound.
Moving into the port side you’ll notice she’s got a Sub-Zero refrigerator and freezer, granite countertops, dishwasher. She’s also got a stainless steel sink with a 4-burner Miele cooktop as well as the oven and a wine-cooler underneath.
All the way forward is your master stateroom and as you’ll notice she’s got a comfortable island style queen size berth and just aft of that you have a nice office area with the vanity as well.
Moving aft you have the guest stateroom with two twin berths. It’s very comfortable in this area. You also have a flatscreen TV as well as a hanging wardrobe. Luck is one of only 6 Savannah Yachts to ever be completed. She was started in 2008 by Savannah Yachts but later finished in 2010 by Hinckley yachts. So you might think that being one of only six built is a negative thing, but actually Hinckley is the one that took over some of the hulls that Savannah had produced but not completed.
Savannah Yachts had fell under hard times when the economic crash hit in 2008 and she was unable to be completed by Savannah but being completed by Hinckley actually speaks volumes for the brand itself when you have somebody like Hinckley standing behind the Savannah hulls.
As soon as you step foot on the boat, you’ll notice some superyacht qualities that you won’t find any other boat this size in the market. From the woodwork in the staterooms to the intricate details in both the salon and the galley, I believe this Savannah sets herself apart from any other boat in the 50+ class market.
