Today we’ll be taking you onboard a 59 Marquis motoryacht named Kehesto. Kehesto is powered by the more sought-after MTU 60 series with 825 horsepower each. As you can see she has a large hydraulic swim platform. What you can’t see are the underwater lights that are mesmerizing at night.
Stepping onto the sheltered aft deck you’ll notice a large dining table with seating for 6. Let’s explore the flybridge. The air-conditioned bridge is protected by a factory hardtop, making it clean and comfortable. On the starboard side you have another great entertaining area with ample amount of seating.
Moving forward on the starboard side is your grill. You also have an icemaker, refrigerator and wet bar. Moving forward we come to the helm station on Kehesto. The owner updated all the electronics. She’s fitted with twin Garmin 7212 color maps, HD open array radar, sounder, autopilot and VHFs. The Williams inflatable yacht tender is stored aft. End up on the bow you have a comfortable sunpad area with cup holders on the either side.
As you enter the stainless steel sliding doors you step into the spacious and well-designed main salon. You’ll find high ceilings, cherry interior and cozy seating. You also have a 42-inch Samsung 3D TV that’s connected to the satellite TV. Moving forward on the port side is plenty of storage below as well as display case above.
The galley is on the port side and is easily accessible from the salon. The floors and countertops are black granite which accents your Sub-zero fridge and freezer units nicely. Continuing forward you’ll find a relaxing dining area with plenty of seating for the family and friends. Let’s head down below.
The VIP stateroom is forward. It’s a traditional V-berth with satellite TV and great storage. On the port side is your guest stateroom fitted with over-and-under berths. And the full beam master stateroom is act with satellite TV, walk around king-size bed and warm wood accents throughout. The master bath is impressive as well, boasting marble floors and a full bathtub with a glass enclosure.
Kehesto is a beautiful yacht that is truly well cared for. She’s located in Palm Beach, Florida, and you can experience her in person by contacting Russ Schafer.
