January 16, 2017 8:46 am

This particular Viking has found a new home, but this walkthrough offers you an idea of the general layout and overall features of this type of boat. Join us as we take a look at this 1995 60′ Viking

I’m Ned Bruck, international yacht broker with Denison Yacht Sales.

A 1995 60 Viking sport yacht named Delight. The boat has been to the Great Lakes and back twice on its own bottom. Marv, the owner, is a licensed captain as well as a well-known yachter. He has every record of everything done to the yacht. Please come onboard.

As you enter the yacht from a floating dock, you have easy access to the swim platform. We could walk around right through the cockpit door. You’ll also notice that on the starboard side, you’ve got complete docking controls with an access to the Westmar bow thruster. As you arrive on to the aft deck please notice it’s a hard enclosure, done at the Viking factory.

Stepping up from the aft deck to the flybridge, as you get onboard here, you’ll see that there’s three helm chairs. This is a brand-new touchscreen 5215 and he’s got a Raytheon radar system as well. Besides that he’s got full chartplotter. She’s fully equipped with autopilot, Bennett trim tab indicators, a backup GPS map system. Behind the helm chairs is a full wraparound lounge for seating. Also this is a removable freezer for long trips.

Welcome to the main salon of the Delight. As you can see she’s got plenty of open windows, of course, there’s blinds to cover down, 42-inch plasma screen TV, and the galley is on the same level. All the appliances have been replaced in this galley except for the refrigerator, which is original. Here in the salon there’s an access panel to all your 12-volt AC and DC ship systems. You can see everything is beautifully done, it’s like it just came out of the factory.

Down below on the starboard side there’s an owner’s office. It was originally built as an upper and lower berth. The VIP forward, that’s an island queen, as a VIP. As you enter the master stateroom you notice the king-size bed, Walk around; plenty of lighting here in the master, plenty of drawer space. The headboard is done by a very famous Bahamian artist. It can be part of the sale, and you’ve got a brand new Samsung flatscreen TV and stereo system.

Welcome to one of the most important features of the Delight. It’s her immaculate engine room. She’s got dual Racors, and besides the Racors, it’s got a debugger system and the generator is forward. It’s also a fairly new tender, an ’05, with a Honda 2-stroke outboard on it.
