Beneteau 30 Swift Trawler Walkthrough Video

Join us as we take a walkthough of the brand new Beneteau Swift Trawler 30 motoryacht:

Hi, I’m Jordan Preusz from Denison Yacht Sales, and today we’re going to take a walkthrough on our brand new 30 Beneteau Swift Trawler. Starting in the aft section of the 30 Swift Trawler, you’ll find that we have a very, very large cockpit. And that’s mainly due to the way that the transom doors trifold and make one big space.

So another cool feature about the transom is that once she’s folded open, there’s actually two additional seats that fold out. Also in the cockpit area, we have a very large lazarette with the generator access and lots of additional storage space.

So on a boat this size, you may be wondering where your tender is going to be stored. Well, Beneteau has thought of everything and we’ve added some Besenzoni collapsible davits that actually pull up out of the transom and extend aft to pull the tender up out of the water.

So as we make our way into the salon, you’ll notice that the sliding doors actually open up three-quarters of the way, creating one large indoor-outdoor living space. And once you actually make your way inside, you’ll notice these huge windows let in tons of natural light.

Probably one of the most unique features about the 30 is that you can actually create a second stateroom in the salon. The whole sofa pulls out to create an extra berth with additional seating underneath as well. So you’ll also notice that you have curtains 360 degrees around the salon, creating a really nice private area for your guests.

On the port side you’ll notice a very large galley with tons of additional storage space, a nice full-size microwave, two fridges and a two-burner cooktop that also has a propane option.

The engine on the 30 Swift is located here in the salon. You may think it would be really loud having the engine directly beneath your feet, but what Beneteau uses is this thick sound-deadening foam to keep the salon nice and quiet when underway.

The great thing about this particular power package is that you’ll cruise at 17 knots and run wide open around 21 knots, which will allow you to outrun any storm.

Just across from the galley on the starboard side, you have the lower helm station. And you’ll see there’s actually a couple different configurations for the seating as well as a nice footrest that converts into a stand to give you some better visibility when you’re standing at the helm.

On the starboard side you have your electronic Volvo control, bow and stern thrusters, digital readout for the Volvo engine, your autopilot here and then a full Raymarine hybrid touchscreen that has your radar and charts. Also on the lower helm, you have a huge sliding door that opens to the covered side deck. It makes it extremely easy to single hand.

Moving down below, you’ll notice that your head and sink are both to the starboard side, while the very large separate stall shower is on the portside. Typically on a 30-footer, you have a wet head where the shower and head are combined. And if you’d like to forgo the separate stall shower, Beneteau does have the option of giving a second stateroom with over/under bunks.

Previously I mentioned the huge amount of natural light that floods into the salon. Well, you’ll notice the same thing when you enter the master. You have hanging lockers on both the port and starboard sides as well as some additional storage underneath the bed.

Now moving up to the flybridge, the first thing you’ll notice is the sheer size of the bridge for a 30-foot boat. To port you’ll notice a very nice U-shaped seating area with a circular table that goes in and out from behind the helm seat.

On the starboard side, the helm is loaded with full electronics package including a chartplotter, depth sounder, bow and stern thrusters, autopilot and much more. You’ll also see that the mast as well as the upper helm both collapse to give you additional bridge clearance.
