Boat show season is in full swing, with three boat shows on Denison’s calendar this week. The New York Boat Show runs Jan. 25-29, the San Diego Sunroad Marina Boat Show is Jan. 26-29 and the Seattle Boat Show takes place Jan. 27-Feb. 4.
Denison Yacht Brokers Patrick Hopkins, Steve Messenger and Olga Sachenkova will be on hand at the popular show at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York. Every guest who registers with Denison at the show will be entered to win one of two weekends of dockage at the Liberty Landing Marina.
Denison will have a variety of new yachts at the San Diego Boat Show, including 2 luxury catamarans, a pristine sailing sloop and a power yacht. Denison is the west coast dealer for Fountaine Pajot, Seawind and Privilege catamarans.
Fresh off the ship from France and making her west coast debut is the Fountaine Pajot Lucia 40, sure to be the belle of the boat show. Her sleek lines, extra-large cockpit with dining for 8 and spacious salon and galley will make you yearn for one of your own.
The new streamlined Seawind 1160 Lite also will be featured with her new clean and modern interior. The traditional diesel sail drives have been replaced with lighter 20hp Honda (or 25hp Yamaha) outboard engines, resulting in a light and fast performance catamaran.
Not to be missed is the sophisticated 2017 Dufour 412, an improved version of the 410. Her revamped design incorporates functionalities usually reserved for larger yachts. With a fast hull, lots of space above and below deck, she is an excellent sailing yacht for offshore cruising or racing.
For powerboat enthusiasts, put the Carver 37 on your must-see list. With two decks, a thoughtfully designed galley, spacious staterooms and expansive outdoor living space, this boat is not only for the high-performance speed lovers, it is comfortable and great for entertaining.
The show takes place at San Diego’s Sunroad Resort Marina Thursday and Friday from 12am-6pm and Saturday and Sunday from 10am-6pm. Brokers who will be attending include Kurt Jerman, Tom Cardosa, Dave Millet and Kim Dumas.
The Seattle Boat Show Indoors + Afloat runs weekdays from 11am-5pm and weekends 10am-5pm at Seattle’s South Lake Union. There are high expectations for the show based on how successful the last one was, and Denison since has added Yacht Broker Geo Tamblyn to the team.
Denison will have several striking new Beneteau models at the show, including the 46 Gran Turismo, 40 Gran Turismo, 44 Swift Trawler, 34 Swift Trawler and 30 Swift Trawler.
Seattle Yacht Broker Mark Rinker also will have a 2000 53′ Carver and a 2005 Sea Ray 390 on display.
