Join us as we take a walkthough of the interior of the Dufour 560 Grand Large sailing yacht:

Welcome to the interior of the Dufour 560 Grand Large. Immediately when you walk down the stairs you’ll notice the large difference from anything else that you see on the market today. Its galley forward design really makes it much more spacious and much more comfortable.

One of the really nice features when you’re sitting here and relaxing with friends because it is so cavernous, they have these beautiful windows on this side; they really thought this out very, very well. This nice settee seat here for the dinette; this opens up, so you’ve got a backrest, storage underneath, and then you can adjust the seat to any position you want. So it opens everything up and then this drops down here as well.

One of the other really beautiful features is the size of this table. This opens up, gives you a really nice open table for dinner. You can put two 2, 4, 6, 8 people here very easily for dining.

Now a nice feature on the Dufour 560 is the navigation station. Lots of storage here for everything. You’ve got storage underneath as well. Seat lifts up, there’s storage in there. When you look to the back, you have this hidden compartment here with all of your electronic controls, your multi-counter, your generator controls and all your electrical switches.

Hidden panel here, where you have Raymarine electronics, this opens up, angles toward you so you can see it while you’re seated in the nav station, and when you’re done with it, push it, and it hides away. There’s also space for more if you’d like to add some additional equipment.

One of the great details that you’re going to notice throughout the Dufour 560 are all of the solid wood corners finished in nice light oak, rich oak cabinetry which contrasts nicely with the leather interior, the detailed stitching throughout along the sideboards here, framing these windows. You have leather sideboards with the same detail and stitching.

When you open all the cabinetry, the pistons are gentle stop, so they don’t slam down at any point. Nice solid handrails, LED lighting, switches that control everything all in one spot to make it easy for you, rope lighting and safety lighting throughout on the floors.

As you walk forward in the Dufour 560 into the galley area from the salon, one thing you’ll notice is the beautiful oak cabinetry that carries through and transitions nicely from the salon area. Plenty of storage throughout, nice features that we have here: built-in coffee pot, coffee storage in the back, nice stainless-steel deep basin sink, hot and cold pressure water with foot pump with auxiliary water.

Over onto this side you have access to the stove with built-in splash guard when that’s out of the way. When you’re not using it, you have a really nice countertop, plenty of storage in here as well. Going down below more storage for utensils, pot and pan storage, trash storage.

Moving out over to the side you’ve got your freezer and refrigeration. There is a built-in wine cooler, which is a nice option, built-in microwave and then additional storage here as well for tall items such as if you wanted cereal boxes or some tall bottles or so forth.

Continuing forward from the salon area in the galley, it brings you into the forward cabin, in the master cabin. This is a beautifully laid out cabin, ideal for a couple to be very comfortable. A head compartment forward with a separate stall shower, vanity, mirror, sink – everything that you need up there.

The placement of that allows the cabin space to be moved back into a much wider section of the boat, allows us for a couple of different options. This is the one of them the most popular options, which they call the side island berth.

You get a nice seating area up here, vanity area, makeup table, what have you plenty of hanging locker space here, drawer storage which is actually very, very large. Another drawer down there and then the berth is actually situated off to the side with full walkaround feature, so you can climb on either side and you don’t have to step over or climb over somebody to get on or off.

In the aft section of the boat either the port or starboard of the companionway, you find the two guest cabins. These are both very nice double guest cabins. Each have their own head, the head on the port side is actually shared with the main salon for dayhead use as well.

The Dufour 560 is available in both the open interior as shown as well as the molaby layout. The ability to hand select different woods and fabrics allows you to personalize your yacht and truly make it an expression of yourself.
