82 Horizon Motoryacht “Jeannie” Walkthrough Video

March 9, 2017 2:06 pm

This particular Horizon yacht has found a new home, but this walkthrough offers you an idea of the general layout and overall features of this type of boat. Join us as we take a look at motoryacht “Jeannie”:

Hi, my name is Kevin Frawley with Denison Yacht Sales. Today I’m going to take you through one of my favorite boats, the 2005 82′ Horizon motoryacht Jeannie. When the current owners searched for a new boat, they wanted one that could go cruising in right away. Jeannie was the perfect fit, and they have continued to maintain her with a meticulous full-time crew that keeps the boat in near-perfect condition.

When we step into the cockpit, we have a high gloss finished teak table, perfect for a large dining party. Also in the cockpit is an oversized propane barbecue. Stepping into the salon through the stainless and glass sliding doors, we have a glass storage cabinet to the left and a smaller dining table off to your right. A leather sofa to starboard, which was refinished in 2012, gives the salon a great deal of comfortable seating. A 55-inch flat panel TV raises electronically from the port cabinet.

The galley forward is open to the salon and to the dining area in front of it. She’s equipped with granite countertops, a large gas range and oven plus 4 SubZero drawer fridges and 2 SubZero drawer freezers. Just forward of this open gallery is a dining area with two large tables facing each other which allows for a great formal or informal dining.

Across from the galley and dining area, we take the stairs up to the sky lounge. Up here we have a helm with two STIDD adjustable leather chairs overlooking the suite of electronics that will allow you to cruise almost anywhere in the western hemisphere. Backup Furuno black box systems and Nobeltech navigation are included. Behind the helm we have a large seating area with high-gloss table to enjoy the passing scenery or to watch the big game on another 55-inch flat panel TV. We also have the day head aft.

Stepping outside through the stainless glass door to the boat deck, Jeannie has an outdoor wet bar with sink and refrigerator. A 1,500-pound davit is capable of lifting the 15-foot Boston Whaler tender that has a 40 horsepower Evinrude outboard.

Let’s head down below and check out the staterooms. The full beam master has a king-size bed, large closets and a settee to port. Separate his and hers heads share a large shower. The guest stateroom to starboard has split berths, en suite ahead and separate shower. All the way forward is the VIP stateroom with a queen berth, closets, an en suite head with separate shower.

A stairwell aft in the salon leads to the crew quarters, pantry, engine room and electrical room. The crew quarters has a large berth, en suite head and a storage pantry with a full-size refrigerator. The electrical room has a large breaker panel, tool storage and a window allowing for quick visual checks.

She’s equipped with Caterpillar C30 1550 horsepower diesels, giving her a top speed of 24 knots and a cruise of 18 knots. Both engines were rebuilt under warranty by Gregory Pool Caterpillar around 600 hours ago and are in perfect working condition.

That concludes our walkthrough of the motoryacht Jeannie. Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions or if you would like to see her in person.
