We began a search last spring to purchase a catamaran for a retirement adventure. We had searched several Florida marinas before finding a Manta 40 “Two Much Fun” in Mount Pleasant, SC. We met Chris Ollis on our first trip to Charleston to view the boat. Chris was the listing broker and we had some trepidation about not having our own broker involved in the process.

Chris’s demeanor and honest approach allayed our fears immediately. Chris provided us with information that other brokers had literally tried to charge us for.  I immediately knew Chris brought integrity and honesty into a process where a sizable monetary transaction could occur.

There were issues found during the survey that required some additional negotiation and Chris was extremely helpful to us during the entire process. He literally had sweat equity in the deal when we were removing the mainsail in the Charleston July heat! Several maintenance issues took several months to resolve and Chris kept the process moving forward and was always in contact with us for status of repairs.

If I ever purchase or sell another boat Chris will be our first contact. We consider Chris as much more than a sales broker. It was like we were dealing with an old friend. We have continued to stay in contact with Chris to send him pictures of our exploits down the ICW and Florida coast and will continue to do so.

We are very grateful for the time and energy Chris gave us during our purchase and highly recommend his services. We feel very lucky that Chris was the listing broker and will never forget his attention to the entire process.
