This particular Maritimo has found a new home, but this walkthrough offers you an idea of the general layout and overall features of this type of boat. Join us as we take a look at this 52′ sportfish motoryacht:
Hello, this is Michael Fine with Denison Yacht Sales. Today we’re going to take you onboard Mac Attack, a 2010 52 Maritimo, here in Long Island, New York.
As you step onboard the swim platform on Mac Attack, you’ll notice port and starboard entry doors into the cockpit. In the aft section of the cockpit, on the starboard side you have your prep area, grill and sink. And on the port side, you have your refrigerator-freezer option.
A key feature of the cockpit is a large storage lazzrat for lines, fenders and anything you may need. Just forward of the lazzrat is your engine access. She’s powered with Caterpillar C12 diesel engines. In the aft section in the engine room, you’ll find your CAT diesel generator. On the port side of the cockpit is your aft engine controls, and that is one of four ways of controlling her.
As we enter the salon, you’ll really see how Maritimo utilizes that 17-foot beam. On the starboard side of the galley, we have a full-size refrigerator, full-size freezer and slide-out pantry. Also in the galley, we have a microwave, dishwasher and tons of storage.
Across from the galley on the port side, we have additional storage, ice maker and pop-up television. The pop-up television is one of five on the boat; they each have their own Direct TV receiver, so everyone can be watching what they’d like to watch.
Also on the port side, there’s L-shaped seating as well as storage underneath. Across from that on the starboard side, you have your settee, which is great for entertaining and dining, and if you expand the table, you have plenty of room for all of your guests. Just forward of the L-shaped seating, there’s even more storage. Now let’s head down below and check out these staterooms.
As we head downstairs to port, you’ll find the master stateroom. You have an island queen berth, a lot of storage including a large space underneath the bed, and ensuite head.
Across the master, is your guest stateroom, fitted with a single berth; you’ll also find your washer and dryer here as well. Moving forward you find your VIP stateroom with island queen berth. This stateroom also has an ensuite head that could serve as your day head as well.
We’re back in the salon now and on the port side we have our enclosed bridge access. Let’s go take a look. The enclosed flybridge is by far my favorite part of the boat. It’s an excellent place for entertaining and serves as a skylounge while underway.
On the starboard side is your helm with a full suite of Furuno electronics – autopilot, balance turn thrusters as well as your CAT engine controls.
On the starboard side, you’ll find your seating area equipped with your high-low table with a full cushion. It will function as a berth and in the up position, it’s ready for entertaining.
You also have a fridge on the starboard sign and across that you’ll find your television, sink, prep area and ice maker. Heading aft, you have a private balcony with one of the four engine controls that we mentioned earlier.
One of the coolest ways to control the boat is with the side power remote. It allows you to maneuver her easily around the dock.
That wraps up our walkthrough on the Maritimo. If you have any questions or like to see her in person, please feel free to contact me.
