The Beneteau Monte Carlo 6 is an absolutely stunning 60-foot flybridge yacht. Her designers, Nuvolari & Lenard, gave her breathtakingly beautiful and classic lines starting from her wave-piercing bow leading to her nearly vertical stern.
Andreani Design’s team gave her interior styling that combines the usual Beneteau open and airiness with super yacht quality fit and finish. Her spacious 3 staterooms with ensuite heads and her large, open salon offer the perfect comfort and entertainment space to her owners and guests.

Hi, Capt. Steve for BoatTest.com, and today we’re going to be conducting features walkthrough of the next model in the Monte Carlo series from Beneteau, the Monte Carlo 6 – bridging the gap between the cruising range of boats and the larger yacht range. Let’s take a look starting at the boarding area.
We board the Monte Carlo 6 from the swim platform that extends 5 feet 5 inches from the transom. This measurement, along with her 15 foot, 2 inch length, as well as the embedded supports will allow this hydraulically actuated platform to accommodate a custom Williams jet power tender.
The aft deck is accessed from stairs to the starboard side. The three-across couch lies just behind the solid wood table on a double pedestal. And leaves flip out to convert to dining. Plenty of space just ahead can accommodate deckchairs.
Overhead an extended flying bridge deck provides protection and extendable awning adds shade out to the swim platform.
Stairs to the aft deck lead to the flying bridge, which consists of multiple entertainment venues. A large U-shaped sofa wraps around a solid wood table, of course with leaf extensions. The sofa measures 9 feet 8 inches and can easily hold 8.
Directly across is a refreshment center with an electric grill, sink and refrigerator with bottle storage. Fully forward is a double-wide seat next to the helm to enjoy the view from. I’d like to see the cushions be a little bit higher here. The aft sunpad is huge, and as a nice added feature, it includes a padded seat back wrapping across the aft deck that adds immensely to the comfort level.
The hardtop is the same style used on the larger Monte Carlo yachts line, but where those are fabricated from carbon fiber, this one is all fiberglass. In the center is a soft-top that retracts with a switch at the helm.
The bow deck remains flat and unobstructed but at the touch of a button, alright two buttons, two sections of the deck rise to become a chaise lounge. Just add cushions to complete the picture. For a little nighttime ambience, pop-up deck lights add subtle illumination.
Glass doors open fully to allow a seamless transition between the outside and the inside. Moving to the interior, the galley is aft between the salon and the exterior aft deck. It consists of the main galley to starboard and the refrigeration and additional storage to port.
Corian counters are standard. Here we have optional travertine stone. A stainless sink is recessed into the counter space. There’s a four-burner stove and a convection microwave below. Storage is above, a wine chiller is located to the end cap.
For refrigeration we have drawers. Two for refrigerators, a third can be either a fridge or a freezer, the fourth drawer is storage. Additional storage is above, all fabricated from a mix of Alpi wood and soft-touch leather.
Teak decking giving way to carpeting highlights the transition to the salon. With large windows and 7 foot high ceilings, the area has an open and airy feel. Opposing couches consist of a loveseat to port and U-shaped sofa to starboard wrapping around a solid wood table with flip-out leaves.
A switch transitions the table from dining to cocktails, opening side windows provide cross-ventilation. When underway a settee next to the helm allows guests to share in the views with the host at the helm. Storage is just ahead.
Now let’s take a look at where we’ll be accommodating our overnight guests. Stairs to the portside lead to a foyer, a glass highlight on the rail is backlit for a pleasing soft light, making transitions safe after dark.
The master is located around the corner, let’s start there. The master is full beam with the large round hull side windows port and starboard that have come to define the brand. The high ceilings we saw in the main salon continue here even as we step up to the sides of the king-size berth.
It is here that the carpeting gives way to teak decking. A mirror slides across the window just above a vessel sink to port.
The head is split to both sides, water closet to the left and a shower to the right. A flat-screen TV is mounted to the bulkhead at the foot of the bed. Below a leather and Alpi wood credenza adds to the storage. To the starboard side is more storage flanked by dual seats and hanging lockers to the outsides.
Moving forward to the VIP, this stateroom consists of an island berth with probably the most natural lighting class from hull side portlights and a lengthy overhead skylight place between the convertible sections of the deck and the bow. Headroom is 6 feet 4 inches, additional storage is above the portlights.
This berth can also be used as two separate berths by separating them scissor fashion. There’s also a private ensuite head that is quite sizable, running aft along the hull. It features teak decking, more of the travertine counterwork and a large walk-in shower.
Just outside the VIP stateroom is the door to the dayhead that also includes walk-in shower. The third stateroom is just behind, and it includes its own private entrance to the same head. A queen berth can be separated into a pair of twins if desired. Just under the companionway stairs is a combination washer/dryer. Space alongside can accommodate an optional central vac.
Finally, with larger families, the kids can be bunked in the crew quarters accessed from the transom. It includes a single berth, head and sink.
In our opinion the Monte Carlo 6 represents a comfortable blend of quality workmanship and Italian design – all of the quality we’ve come to expect from the Beneteau Group. And that’s our full features inspection of the Monte Carlo 6. For BoatTest.com, I’m Capt. Steve. We’ll see you on the water.
