Sea Ray 540 Sundancer Yacht Walkthrough Video

This 2011 540 Sundancer is powered by the preferred upgraded Cummins 715HP, QSM-11s with Zeus pods joystic with only 360 hours. She has a stunning two-tone black hull and has just been polished and waxed to perfection.

Hi, I’m Chris Ollis with Denison Yacht Sales, and today I’m going to take you through my 2011 Sea Ray 540 Sundancer. The boat is located in Charleston, South Carolina. She is in amazing condition, has just been polished and waxed.

One of the great features of this boat is the hydraulic swim platform. There’s a remote control that with the touch of a button drops it down into the water so your kids or your guests can swim, spend time in the water.

You don’t want to put the platform in the water, there’s also a disappearing swim ladder that slides out of the back and drops down. So it’s really just a great place to spend time in the water and the sun, which is what we all like to do.

Also just behind sunpad in the back is storage bin with gas chalks. So it’s easy to access things – you can put a couple of fenders there, you can put lines there, you can put water toys there, anything you want to store that’s easily accessible from this room platform.

When you step up into the cockpit is really an entire outdoor kitchen. To the right is an electric grill on the top of the bar there, and then beneath that is a fridge and ice maker. And then go in left, you’ve got more storage underneath. On the top is a bar sink and really a lot of counter space out there. You could prepare meals outside in the cockpit, if you choose.

In the cockpit is this beautiful varnished table that has a piece that folds over so that you can slide behind there easily. And it’s got a handhold where you can pull it all the way out, so that your entire family can sit and eat in the cockpit.

One of the other features that I really like about the boat is the entire helm seat spins around so that the captain and the passenger or the person sitting beside the helm can spin that around and kind of face the action once you’re on an anchor and spend the time, so everybody can face each other in the cockpit, which is nice.

So just to the right of the helm station is an aft facing chaise lounge so that someone can be right there and still engage with the captain or whoever is running the boat. The boat has a full suite of Raymarine electronics, big twin flat screens. Also at the helm is the Zeus joystick, so you can control the boat easily around the dock simply by using a joystick.

Moving forward on the boat, the side decks are plenty wide for you to step forward. There are lots of hand holds to safely go forward. There is a nice big sunpad up on the bow with a huge bow – you could probably fit 6 or 8 people up there very comfortably.

Of course, there’s a power windlass forward. This boat has the stainless anchor option so it’s got a really beautiful plow anchor on the bow.

When you step below in this boat, you feel like you’re at home. Sea Ray does such a fantastic job of making a boat feel comfortable, a place where you want to hang out and spend time, watch movies, spend time with your friends, have a meal – all of the stuff that we do at home, but you get to do it in the best setting I can think of.

So the galley on port has a solid surface countertop, and one of the nice features is there’s a cover for the sink and so when everything is covered up, you can set and it has storage space all on the top. There’s huge cabinets above that open up that are very deep.

One of the criticisms I have about a lot of boats is as you open up the cabinets and it’s 6 inches deep, but these are probably 18 inches deep; lots of storage above, storage below and drawers. There’s a side-by-side stainless isotherm fridge and freezer underneath the counter.

The settee is over to starboard side. It’s an L-settee with a TV that faces forward. The master is down into aft. It’s a nice big master with a huge beautiful head and separate enclosed shower.

When you step forward in the boat, the VIP cabin, which is nearly as big as the master, is forward. It’s got its own ensuite head there. The boat is powered by the desired 715 HP Cummins QSM11s. She comes out of the hole easily, effortlessly and has such a nice-feeling ride on plane.
