Beneteau’s newest design, the MC4, branches the gap between Beneteau Power and Monte Carlo Yachts. The combination of Italian design and French boat building has created a stunning yacht that is sure to outshine all other yachts in her class.
Her hull, designed for Volvo’s IPS drives, features a wave-piercing bow that improves her navigation in the roughest seas. Beneteau Power has dramatically increased the quality of design and build in this model. She is truly a must-see.

Hi, I’m Alex Wilkes with Denison Yacht Sales and today I’m going to give you a full walkthrough of the brand new Monte Carlo 4, and I’m going to show you why she’s one of the most impressive 45-footers on the market today. Let’s take a look.
We’re starting here on your teak hydraulic swim platform with integrated dinghy chocks. Over to the starboard side is your foldout swim ladder. But one of the most unique features here is your transom mounted galley. You’ve got an electric grill and a sink.
We’re here on the starboard side of the cockpit, right next to the entrance and here at the entrance is your cockpit shower. You have a boarding door here with the Monte Carlo logo.
Above this is your cockpit docking station and I’ve just got to talk about this for a second because you can obviously dock the boat from the lower helm or the flybridge, but most of the time you’re going to pull into the slip stern in. So this just makes everything so much easier, I mean, you literally can stand here, you’ve got the joystick, you can face backwards and just pull into your slip – it doesn’t get easier than that.
The rest of the cockpit is very well thought out including plenty of storage here. So you have a nice seating area here with underneath is a large storage area.
You also have storage here on the port side. You’ve got Bose waterproof speakers. Above me here is an electric awning which comes out. And then of course here in the center is your engine room access.
On the bow, you have two large sunpads which tilt up to where you can have lounge seating. You also have a Fusion remote control with Bose waterproof speakers as well as your windlass, your anchor and bow pulpit.
We’re up here at the flybridge helm, and it is immediately impressive when you come up here and you see the amount of flybridge that you get on a 45-foot boat, it’s just unbelievable.
You also have just such good visibility up here running from the upper helm. You just can see so well all around me, if I look back, I can see the edge of the starboard side of the swim platform.
So docking up here is not a problem especially with the IPS joystick. But so back at the aft section of the bridge on the starboard side, you have a flybridge refrigerator. Moving to port is a large seating area with a nice table that will fold up to be used as a cocktail table or dining table.
Forward of that on the port side is a large sun lounge area. You can also fold up the seat to be used as a forward-facing bench. And then on the starboard side, behind the helm is your flybridge galley with a sink and then storage down below.
Here at the flybridge helm, you have the Simrad NS 12-inch touchscreen display which will integrate your GPS, your depth finder, radar. It’s got the rear camera, integrated in there as well. Of course you have the IPS joystick Volvo electronic controls and your bow thruster – really well laid out up here.
Before I take you through the salon I want to point out one of the unique features of the MC4: these doors to the salon, open up all the way to where everything I’ve just showed you in the cockpit can now be integrated into the salon; so you have one huge entertainment space.
I’m sitting here in the salon and I just want to point out the attention to detail and the fit and finish of the Monte Carlo line. It’s really something you have to experience in person. But the leather handles, the wood grained brushed finish, it’s a very, very beautiful look here in the Monte Carlo.
So sitting here in the salon you obviously have your seating here, you have a high-low table, which does convert into a berth. You also have this little seat here, for an extra person while you’re eating and also has storage underneath. And then over to the port side is our galley.
So I want to point out the unique design of this galley which is up on the port side. But remember she’s right next to the salon doors which again open up all the way. So while you’re cooking here in the galley, you can still be connected with your guests that are here sitting in the salon but also on the cockpit.
So here in the galley is you’re under-counter fridge you have, your microwave, dishwasher, your sink with a fold-out faucet. You also have storage up here and an electric cooktop.
But I want to point out and I’m sure you’re probably wondering, and I get this question a lot when people get onboard the MC4 is, where’s the TV? So let me show you. An awesome design, this TV pulls out right here from behind the storage cabinets of the galley.
Forward of the salon on the starboard side is your lower helm, and sitting here I’ve got great visibility with a one-piece windshield. Right now I have the electric side windows open to get some air flow through here.
But I also want to point out the electronics and the layout of the helm is just really nice, everything falls so easily here. I’ve got my IPS joystick, my electronic controls. I’ve got the Lenco trim tabs, bow thruster, these really nice Simrad NS 12-inch screens which are touchscreen – it integrates my GPS, my depth finder radar, I’ve got my camera pulled up here. You also have the 7-inch Volvo Penta display and then also your Volvo Penta keyfob controls here to start and stop the engines.
So before we go down and take a look at the staterooms, I want to point out this storage that’s here on the port side. So the first cabinet here is your trash can which pulls out with the door, you also have a huge drawer here which can be used for pots and pans, another storage drawer underneath, you’ve got a door here which has shelves and then here is your washer/dryer access which is a perfect spot for it – a lot of times you see them under the steps or in the lazarette, so this is very easy access.
Let’s go take a look at the staterooms. All the way forward is your VIP stateroom, you can see we’ve got plenty of natural light here. You’ve got a queen-size berth, you have storage drawers underneath and you also have a flat-screen TV.
We’re here in the master and it is a huge master for a boat that’s only 45-feet. We’re using the full beam, thanks to her IPS 500s and Beneteau did such an awesome job of utilizing as much headroom space as they possibly could in here. Just really, really impressive.
You also have two huge windows both on the port and starboard side. And starting from port, you’ve got three storage drawers over here as well as your TV and your Bose surround sound. Over here to starboard is a seating area along with more storage drawers and then also a hanging closet. And as you exit the master, you have your ensuite head.
Well that’s it for the MC4, for thank you so much for taking the time to do this walkthrough with us today. As you can see she’s an amazing 45-footer, one you’d definitely have to see in person.
