Denison Sells 45′ Selene Trawler ALTER EGO

Denison is pleased to announce the sale of ALTER EGO, a 45′ Selene trawler built in 2011. 

A Denison broker represented the seller, and Fred Schmitt, based in Denison’s Michigan office, represented the buyer. 

One of the most well equipped Selenes on the market, ALTER EGO was built by her owners with a high level of attention to detail that is not seen on a yacht this size. She is equipped with an extensive electronics package with redundancy of multiple systems for long passages.

She has a beautiful interior with solid teak and holly floors, teak interior with a satin finish and touches of high gloss teak throughout. Her layout includes two staterooms and two heads, each with separate showers, making this a passagemaker that can handle extensive cruising with room for guests.

She truly feels like a much larger yacht and is built to a quality that is not found under 50 feet. Her notable features included an extensive electronics package with:

  • Two Garmin GMI 10 Autopilots with separate pumps
  • Two radars – 1 Garmin 72NM Open array, 1 Simrad radar
