This beautiful classic Feadship is a stunning example of Dutch quality completed in the De Vries Shipyard in 1971 and refitted in 2008. She has a traditional-style interior in high gloss varnished teak, and her design and technical plans were created with De Voogt Naval Architects.

She is a 3-stateroom superyacht with a full-beam master and two twin cabins, all ensuite, accommodating six guests plus crew quarters accommodating four crew.

Calypso’s salon has a timeless air, with large windows running the entire length of the room offering panoramic views. The dining room has seating for eight guests along with cabinets for glass, china and cutlery.

The covered aft deck is a perfect place to relax, with its teak deck, chairs, solid teak table and ample seating. The flybridge features custom seating aft as well as mounts for the Nautica RIB tender. There is full instrumentation at the helm position and further comfortable seating for eight guests under the Bimini top.

Twin 460hp Caterpillar diesel engines give her a cruising speed of 10 knots and a maximum speed of 13 knots. The new owner plans an extensive refit in order to bring her back to her original glory.

“She’s a beautiful example of a classic Feadship, and the owner is looking forward to putting his personal touches on her. Feadship is the ultimate boat, and the owner never thought he’d own one. He is very excited to have the chance to restore and use her,” said Charles.

She was lying in Stuart, Florida.
