The current original owner of this 58 Sea Ray Sundancer 2013 purchased this boat new. Built on a modified V-hull and solid fiberglass bottom, this twin-stateroom, two-head floorplan offers the luxurious comforts of a small motoryacht.
The owner has maintained this boat to the highest standards. Join us as we take a walkthrough of this 2013 Sea Ray:
I’m Brian Nobles and today we’ll be taking you on Prometheus, a 2013 58 Sea Ray Sundancer. We’ll start today’s walkthrough here on the stern.
Prometheus has an extended hydraulic swim platform, swim ladder and underwater lighting. You can see there’s some storage lockers here as well for lines, fenders and water toys. Notice the teak on the transom steps and stainless grab rails for both hands. We’ll pass the transom door and a freshwater washdown.
The cockpit is separated into two sections – fore and aft. Back here in the aft section, we have seating to the portside and a bench at the stern. Here in the center, Brian’s going to easily lift that hatch to provide access to the engine room. She’s powered by MAN 900 CRMs accompanied by an Onan 21-and-a-half kilowatt generator. As you can tell there’s plenty of light and room in here – both are important in your mechanical spaces.
Over to the starboard side of the cockpit we have a Kenyon grill above where you can grill up some hot dogs and hamburgers. And while you’re doing that, the U-line icemaker below will keep your drinks cold day and night.
Now we’ll continue into the forward section of the cockpit. This whole area is air-conditioned, backed by 40,000 BTUs, and can also be fully enclosed acting as a second salon. To starboard here is what Sea Ray calls the carousel seating. Two independent sections rotate on tracks to offer different arrangements. Here we have each section facing each other.
Across from here to the portside is a Toshiba flat-screen TV, your wet bar with plenty of storage below. Notice the teak that’s found throughout the forward section. Near the storage compartments here below, you have a Norcold fridge and just above is the wet bar that can be concealed, offering more counter space. As you can see the sink folds away nicely when not in use.
Staying on the portside and moving forward there’s a lockbox, a few cupholders and a double-wide Stidd seat. There’s more Stidd comfort at the helm to starboard but with two singles, again finished in twotone leather. The big standout feature at the helm is your two Raymarine E140s. Along with what you would typically expect, Prometheus also has bow and stern thrusters, Raymarine smart pilot and Bennett trim tabs.
Before we head down below, let’s check out the bow. You’ll find multiple handrails both low and high as we continue. Here on the bow, there’s a big sunpad with cupholders to either side and again, stainless grab rails. And all the way forward is your anchor, windlass and spotlight.
Now let’s move into the interior. As we make our way down the steps to the starboard side here, you have an L-shaped ultra-leather sofa. The salon has the upgraded matte walnut throughout. Near the sofa is a 32-inch Sony TV paired with Bose surround sound.
To the port side of the salon is your galley. Here in the galley of the concealed Kenyon 3-burner cooktop. Also concealed is the microwave above. Down below are 4 fridge-freezer drawers that are all this size. There’s a lot of storage options including this pull-out pantry. Also in this area is a Splendide washer-dryer combo.
Heading aft from the galley on the port side we’ll pass the steps and move into the full-beam master. This boat is 15 feet 11 inches wide and Sea Ray uses all of that for your master stateroom.
Another 32-inch flat screen lives in front of the island style queen bed, there’s storage all around and huge hull side windows that let in light and offer awesome views. The master head is on the starboard side and has a separate stall shower with the teak seat and lovely finishes near the sink.
We’ll move back into the salon and we’ll continue into the second stateroom – your VIP. We’re passing the dayhead here but we’ll come back to that. This is an excellent VIP – plenty of light coming through including a hatch overhead if you’d like.
Storage beneath the bed here and in cedar lined closets like you have in the master. And over here to the portside is private access to dayhead that we mentioned earlier.
Thank you for taking the time joining us on Prometheus today. If you have any additional questions or would like to go ahead and view this boat, please feel free to contact me.
