Viking’s description of the V70 as a “bluewater sports car” is supported by a helm that screams, “Drive me.” That sports car metaphor is also supported by the V70’s performance with a top end that exceeds 40 mph.
This 2005 V70 Viking Princess is in turn-key condition. Join us as we take you on a walkthrough of this exceptional motoryacht:
Hi, I’m Peter Quintal with Denison Yachting and I’m here to give you a tour today of Amanda, a 2005 V70 Princess Sport Cruiser. Come on, take a look.
Just to run through some technical specs on the boat, she’s 70 feet overall. She’s got a very wide beam, 16 foot 11 inches. She does have the preferred caterpillar C32 engines that provide an effortless 32-knot cruise and a top-end of an amazing 38 knots.
So as you board from the stern of the boat you step aboard the swim platform, and on the port side you have a garage for your 3.25 Williams jet tender. And on the starboard garage you actually have a Sea-Doo Spark two-seater in there. So she holds a lot of toys for her size.
As you step up to the aft deck you’ll notice two large aft sun pads for 4 people. All of the exterior cushions have been updated with a saddle diamond pattern material which is very waterproof. To the starboard side you have al fresco dining for up to 6 guests.
On the port side you have an outdoor galley complete with 3-burner ceramic cooktop, a sink, ice maker, refrigerator and a trash receptacle. Let’s make our way up to the bow now. As you can see, a very large sunbathing area for up to 3-4 guests, complete with Kicker speakers. In addition to your outdoor music you have an array of JL Audio speakers on the aft deck.
As you enter the upper salon area you’ll notice a horseshoe-shaped seating arrangement all has been reupholstered. There is a custom table that is spectacular. It actually has side wings for dining for additional space. You have a custom removable carpet than accents the space. Here on the port side you’ve got seating for up to three as well as a retractable TV with Bose surround sound.
So we’ve made our way over here to the starboard side at the helm station. Garmin electronics have all been updated as well as the autopilot gauges. There is a bow and stern thruster control as well and this boat even has a remote control to dock anywhere on the vessel, Yacht Controller.
The captain seats where I’m sitting in right now are actually a white diamond pattern. This boat is equipped with 4 captains seats – 2 on the port and 2 on a starboard side. Above the helm station and above a forward area here you’ll notice a huge sunroof that can be opened up on those nice cool days.
So we’ve made our way down to the galley. What I like about this space here is you have a ton of headroom. I’m 6 feet tall and I have so much space above me. And as you go down, this boat is equipped with hardwood flooring in the galley which is in great shape.
You have a full-size refrigerator, you have nice freezer space. Over here you have actually a dishwasher; there’s a 4-burner ceramic cooktop, a convection microwave and a huge pull-out pantry over here.
Opposing the galley on the port side you have side-by-side guest beds. You have a full head and shower that is off of there that also doubles as your day head. So we’ve made our way forward into the VIP cabin, as you can see she has a marine queen-sized island berth, tons of headroom, beautiful detail down to the sconces up above the headboard. She is equipped with a full head with separate shower just for the VIPs.
From the VIP we’re going to walk out to the full-beam master aft cabin. As you can see when you enter, there is a full-size queen island berth to the starboard side, you have a loveseat for two and on the port side you have a dressing table with huge closet. As we exit the master suite you’ll notice a head with separate shower and bidet.
As previously discussed, the boat is equipped with the preferred C32 Caterpillars. The CAT recommended 1,000-hour service was completed. Since then there’s only 128 hours on the engines. So the total run time on the vessel is 1,128 hours.
Thanks for taking a tour of Amanda with us today. If you’d like more information or you’d like to set up an appointment to see her in person, please contact me at any time.
