November 7, 2017 11:14 am

The 58th annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show wrapped up on Sunday, and once again the “Super Bowl” of the yachting industry did not disappoint. Here are some highlights from the show:

1. Hatteras World Debuts

Hatteras launches 90 motoryacht

The Hatteras M90 Panacera motoryacht and GT45X with Flybridge made their world debuts at the show. The M90 is the first Hatteras motoryacht to offer a dramatic walkout balcony and features the HattCon total vessel management system.

2. 11 Boats Sold

Denison brokers were very busy during the show, selling 11 brokerage boats and new Beneteau and Hatteras boats during the five-day event. They also cultivated many promising leads from contacts made at the show. Hatteras received so many orders at the show that some models are now out until 2020.

3. Massive Superyacht Shines

5. Tesla partnership

Denison was everywhere you looked. With boats at 6 locations (brokerage displays at Bahia Mar and Las Olas Bend, new Beneteau and Hatteras displays and additional boats at Pier 66 and the Sails marinas), a massive Elysian banner at the entrance to Bahia Mar, a check-in kiosk at the hotel’s Market deli and Denison Teslas, tenders and golf cart zipping around the show, you couldn’t help but notice the orange and blue.

8. Superyacht Video

Superyacht broker Ken Denison gives you an exclusive look at two of the biggest boats at the show – TV, a 258′ Lurssen, and Mine Games, the 203′ Benetti superyacht.
