EXCELLENCE: One of the Most Compact Yachts With a Helipad

The 150′ EXCELLENCE built by Richmond Yachts is currently one of the only yachts in her size range to offer a touch & go helipad. Ideal to reach the yacht without any struggle, and enjoy the most remote areas without a 10 to 12-hour cruise.  

The yacht is considered by many as the best Richmond ever crafted by the North American yard. Founded by a Texan entrepreneur, the company was never destined to be one of the top American yards. Yet, when Sovereign Yachts of British Columbia failed, he decided to purchase the yard, later renaming it Richmond Yacht and focusing on the construction of high-quality, semi-custom fiberglass motoryachts. The company went on to build some of the best yachts in America. 

Today EXCELLENCE is one of the largest, if not the largest yacht ever built by the company. She can accommodate up to 10 guests, including an on-deck master suite, with his & her baths, a walk-in closet, and office space. The yacht is finished with a traditional atmosphere, but with modern touches. 

Her massive sun-deck features an eight person jacuzzi, surrounded by sunpads facing forward, the ideal location to soak up the sun while underway. With an alfresco dining option and ample space for toys & tenders, the sundeck is built for entertaining. 

She can reach a top speed of 18 knots and enjoys a comfortable cruise at 14, thanks to a semi-displacement hull powered by two MTU 16V2000.
