“You don’t need instructions for your iPhone, do you?” This is the question the editor from Boat International was asked when stepping aboard the Hatteras M90 Panacera. If you don’t need instruction for your iPhone, you shouldn’t need some for your yacht. This is what Hatteras tried to create when designing and engineering the Hatteras M90.
The interior styling of the Hatteras M90 is in continuity with her smaller sister, the M75 Panacera. Taking a tradition styling, slightly modernizing it and using glass extensively, the Hatteras team created a yacht that is absolutely timeless.
Yet the ease of use of the yacht, referred by Boat International, isn’t about interior styling. One of the major features of the M90 is the yacht management system. From one central location, the HattCon one can control most of the aspect of the yacht, from the blinds to the lights. Turning all the lights on on-board literally takes seconds.
The integrated system is available in the main salon and the helm station, where both owner and captain have an easy access. All the systems of the yacht, tank level, smart glass window, autopilot, steering system and navigation are integrated into the HattCon.
“It’s a very intuitive boat to use,” says David Clubss, an engineer on the M90 project. “This boat works for you instead of you having to work for the boat.”
