I’m Jordan with Denison Yachting and today we’re going to take you on board SENISA. She’s just in on trade and she’s a 2010 70 Azimut flybridge. SENISA is powered with 1360 horsepower MAN Diesels. They cruise her around 27 knots with a wide open throttle of 33 knots. She has brand new Raymarine electronics and a new davit and AB tender on the flybridge.
I’d like to welcome you aboard this 2010 Azimut 70 flybridge. Today we’re going to start our walkthrough of SENISA on the aft end and the first thing you’ll notice is her hydraulic swim platform with the capacity of about a thousand pounds. You have access on the port and starboard side out of the cockpit with the transom door that takes you into the crew cabin and engine room. Stepping onto the aft deck, you’ll notice the centerline settee that can easily accommodate 6 or 7 adults. To starboard is an LG flat-screen TV with the new upgraded JL audio system overhead. SENISA’s original lighting was all removed and replaced with upgraded LEDs.
Leaving the aft deck, we step into the salon. Under foot is a brand new wide plank floor. The signature Azimut window design makes her a very bright and inviting space here in the salon. Beneath the nearly floor-to-ceiling window on the starboard side is this huge U-shaped settee with a pullout sofa. Opposite that to port is your high-low flat-screen television with drawer storage on either side. You also have your custom Azimut dishware storage just forward.
Two steps up from the salon is your formal dining area that can easily accommodate 6 adults on the sofa with 2 additional stools that pull out on the starboard side. The table is accented with a three-panel leather inlay. To starboard is the open-concept galley. One of the things I really love about the galley on the 70 is this floating glass bar that makes it easy to pass food and drinks to the dining area. In addition to the full size fridge and freezer, you also have additional cold storage below the Frigidaire microwave. Opposite the sink is this unique 4-burner ceramic cooktop with additional drawer and shelf storage to either side.
As you step out of the galley, you’ll notice a pantograph door that gives easy access to the starboard side deck. When entering this door from the side deck, you’re just steps away from the lower helm station. She has the upgraded interior package with two crocodile helm seats that move electronically. Forward are your 15-inch Raymarine touchscreens. From here, you can easily monitor the FLIR night-vision camera as well as the other cameras on board.
Below the main screens are your auto pilot controls to starboard and tri-data display to port. All the way to port is your new yacht controller system with integrated joystick as well as a remote control. If you’re not familiar with the yacht controller; it allows the captain to control the bow and stern thrusters as well as the main drives wirelessly from anywhere on the vessel. Also on this side are your twin MAN LCD engine displays.
Now I want to take you to the main companionway, which connects all four of her staterooms. The entirety of the lower deck is carpeted with the exception of the ensuites. The walls are covered in soft suede with leather and stainless steel safety handles throughout. You’ll also notice the beautiful cerused oak doors and trim. All the way aft on the lower level is SENISA’s full beam master. She’s equipped with the centerline queen berth and these huge waterline windows.
To starboard is a plush seating area for two. Just aft is your ensuite head. It’s fully equipped with his and her sinks, a large teak stand-up shower and marble countertops.
To port just below the windows is a pop-up vanity with drawer storage below and cabinet storage to either side. Just aft is your sizable walk-in closet.
Exiting the master into the main companionway is a concealed washer/dryer combo with your central vacuum hook up just above. Forward on our way to the VIP, we pass our two guest staterooms – to port and starboard. Both feature twin berth layouts – each with an ensuite head and separate shower. All the way forward is your VIP stateroom, which is often mistaken for the master on the 70 Azimut. This large space is flooded with natural light, with the six port windows. To the port side of your centerline queen is your cedar-lined hanging wardrobe. Above the windows on the port and starboard sides are six additional storage lockers.
Moving aft on the starboard side is your VIP ensuite. Similar to the other guest stateroom ensuites, she has a wraparound shower door that makes for a much larger space when tucked away. From where we’re standing in the VIP, directly overhead, is the foredeck. On the bow, there’s a large sunpad that can easily accommodate three or four adults with cupholders along the rails. All the way forward is your windlass and fender storage.
Walking down the portside deck we make our way back to the cockpit. Before we make our way to the flybridge, I want to take you down to the crew’s quarters and engine room. This area is accessed through the transom door on the swim platform and features two separate crew berths, with a standalone head. Access to the sea keepers is beneath the berth in the aft crew cabin. Continuing forward on the starboard side is your water maker and just below is your main electrical panel.
This brings us to the engine room. She’s powered with 1360 MAN diesels and has two Kohler generators that are 20 kw each. Finally, we’ll make our way up to the flybridge. The flybridge is accessed by a molded staircase on the portside. SENISA is equipped with a full hardtop that has a retractable sunroof. All the way aft is your 2014 AB tender with a 50 horsepower Yamaha and newly installed davit. Just forward of the davit is a sizeable teak table with wraparound seating. All of the upholstery on the flybridge and in the cockpit was recently redone. The main storage on the bridge is all underneath this seating area.
To port is your summer galley, with your Kenyon grill and sink on top and stainless steel ice-maker and fridge below. All the way forward is another massive sunpad.
Finally, we end at the upper helm station. All of the new navigation equipment that made the lower helm so great are all replicated here, with the addition of this bow and stern thruster control. Given the features on the flybridge of the 70 Azimut, you’ll have virtually no reason to go down below.
On behalf of myself and Denison Yachting, I want to thank you for walking through this 70 Azimut Flybridge. If you have any questions or would like to schedule a showing, please feel free to contact me directly.
