We have some of the best clients on the planet. Here are some of the great things they've said about us.
I had the pleasure of running into Kim Dumas at the San Diego boat show a couple of months ago and wanted to let you know how everything went.
I am coming up on retirement and my daughter put the idea into my head of buying a boat and taking her around New Zealand. I thought that it was a great idea. But, since I had never sailed before I thought that I had better do some homework. I retire in 1-6 years so I gave myself 3-6 years to learn about cats and I thought that learning to sail during that time wouldn’t be a bad idea.
The first boat show that I found was in San Diego. So I hopped on a plane and off I went. I walked on every catamaran that was at the show at least twice and spoke to every broker that was there. But as soon as I told them what my plans were they stopped talking to me. All except one. Kim listened and took notes and gave me space to look around.
I learned a lot that day and I was very happy that I went.
A few weeks later I got an email from Kim, she asked me if I had any questions about any of the boats that I saw or about any other boats. She remembered my daughter and my 3-6 year plan. I told her that I was looking at two boats because I want a boat that I can sail solo. The Silent 55 and the Xqusite X5.
A couple of weeks later she sent me an invite to the Reggae Regatta to Catalina. I jumped at the chance to spend 5 days on a cat.
I had a wonderful time. Kim and Kurt put on a wonderful event. Captain Richard was fabulous; he spent time teaching all of us as much as we wanted to learn.
Kim was wonderful the whole time, coming up with ideas on other boats and on options on how to use them. I never felt any pressure to buy; she was just trying to help me find the right boat, and always taking notes. I will not be surprised if she comes up with something that I never thought of and it turns out to be the perfect boat. Kim has been staying in touch with me and sending me boats that I may be interested in. I liked three.
As for me, I signed up for sailing lessons in Mexico before I knew that West Coast Multihull even existed, but I plan to bring my daughter down so that Captain Richard can teach her in ASA 101 before she goes to Australia in January.
If it weren’t for Kim Dumas my association with Denison Yacht [Sales] and West Coast Multihull would have ended that day in San Diego.
My thanks to Kim.
We had an overall excellent experience on our recent purchase through Denison. We had a very excellent sales rep by the name of Kim Dumas and she was with us 100% of the way, from the documentation process, through the escrow snafu’s, even helping to find and secure the slip. She would always return our communication and be eager to find a resolution to whatever was coming up. It is hard to find businesses with old-fashioned values such as valuing the customer and keeping them informed. We love our new boat and our experience with Denison. I would strongly recommend this broker to anyone looking to buy or sell solely based on the treatment we received.
