Jimmy Johnson’s Fishing Championship: Denison Team Set For Battle

Denison Palm Beach yacht brokers Gary Hardcastle, Jeremy Floden + Jerry Gilpin will join anglers from around the country to compete during the 8th Annual Jimmy Johnson’s “Quest for the Ring” Tournament in Key Largo, FL, next week. 

Renowned for the finest parties, highest purse and one intense week of fishing, some of the tournament highlights will undoubtedly spring from the Celebrity Pro Am for charity (Thursday, March 7) as well as super-competitive showdowns during the billfish championship.

Held Friday + Saturday (March 8-9), the billfish portion of the event will feature top anglers vying for a guaranteed $1.75 million in prize money. In its seven-year history, the tournament has awarded nearly $4 million along with several of those coveted championship rings from Coach Jimmy Johnson’s war chest.

The Denison team will be reeling in their bounty onboard the Hatteras Yachts new GT59 named HATTERASCAL, a battle-ready sportfish conceived with tournament life in mind. The competition includes catch & release categories, weighted divisions + overall awards.
