Denison Yachting proudly sponsored the fourth annual Emeril Lagasse Foundation Line, Vine & Dine Sailfish Tournament, a 3 day charity event from February 6-8. This tournament is so much more than sailfishing, with the Pier 66 Marina in Fort Lauderdale hosting boat lovers and foodies alike for other events like a yacht hop, poolside trunk show, and a culinary competition sure to delight the senses, the Vine & Dine Seafood Cook-Off, where chefs and wineries will feature special seafood dishes. Denison broker Will Noftsinger is leading Denison’s effort to sponsor this event, and will be attending the event all weekend.
Among the featured chefs is Emeril Lagasse himself, who created this event to sponsor local charities ARC Broward Culinary Institute and Dan Marino Foundation (Marino Campus). Chef Emeril Lagasse and his wife Alden founded the Lagasse foundation to “create opportunities to inspire, mentor and enable youth to reach their full potential through culinary, nutrition, and arts education.”
The Emeril Lagasse Foundation has granted over $10 million to children’s charities since its inception in 2002, giving much needed support to children in culinary, nutrition, and the arts. Last years, Line, Vine & Dine event raised an amazing $800,000 for ARC and the Dan Marino Foundation, providing culinary and hospitality training to young people with developmental disorders, or other life challenges.
Denison broker Jeremy Floden is participating in the tournament, fishing on a 70′ enclosed Viking. This will be Jeremy’s second time participating in the Line, Wine & Dine event, and he couldn’t be more excited.
“There’s no money to be won, it’s all for charity, going to the children. They take a lot of pride in this event and they do a great job at creating an event that gives back and is a lot of fun at the same time.”– Jeremy Floden | Denison Yachting Palm Beach Yacht Broker
