Sunreef Yachts has unveiled a new superyacht concept in collaboration with Malcolm McKeon, a British superyacht designer. This new multihull concept, the MM460 CAT, is planned to have a composite construction with a carbon fibre mast and boom. This yacht concept is set apart due to its glass superstructure, giving a massive amount of space on the 60 square meter flybridge, and clear view from the dual helm.
The MM4660 CAT will total at a length of 46 meters, or 150′. Standout features will include her aft deck, expansive due to her 55′ beam, and her sheltered lounge and al fresco dining area. Internally, her main salon provides a lounge and dining area, seating 18 guests.
Denison Yachting’s Catamaran expert, Wiley Sharp commented on the new concept design, saying, “The superyacht catamaran market has been one of the fastest and most interesting segments in the multihull market. Malcolm McKeon is leading the way in designs and strategic partnerships with some of the world’s premiere multihull builders.”
“I am super excited that they have also teamed up with Sunreef Yachts of Poland to collaborate on their new MM640. When it comes to building superyacht multihulls very few builders possess the skills necessary to execute these radical designs, and both Sunreef and McKeon are more than up to the task.”
