In 2020, YachtWorld sold over 29,000 boats around the world, despite the impact of COVID-19 on brokerage sales. YachtWorld data found that during the pandemic, potential boat buyers around the world browsed for smaller, budget-friendly models. In particular, data found that 75% more women are shopping for boats — possibly with the intention of finding fun ways to incorporate travel into their lives during COVID-19 travel restrictions.
