MARCATO, a 141′ Hike Metal Products & Ship Building Ltd expedition yacht built in 2006 and located in Fort Lauderdale, was sold by Denison yacht broker Mike Burke. The sellers were represented by Paul Madden with Ocean Xplorer and Georges Bourgoignie with Fraser Yachts.
MARCATO is an ocean voyager designed and built to take guests to some of the most remote destinations on Earth. She’s low maintenance and offers an impressive array of onboard amenities and facilities. A multi-million dollar refit was completed at Rybovich in 2018 and includes new interior, expansion of the owner’s deck, and fresh paint. A standout feature is the large capacity crane on the foredeck that can carry a large tender, motorcycles, or submersible.
This yacht provides luxury accommodations for up to 12 guests in 5 staterooms, plus a crew of 7. The master suite is located on the owner’s deck, along with a stylish lounge/bar and private patio. Four guest suites on the lower deck include 2 spaciously designed queen cabins and 2 oversized twin cabins with a double and extra-long twin. There are plenty of dining areas to accommodate different preferences, including elegant formal dining on the main deck, alfresco dining on the aft main deck, a breakfast nook in the galley, and a dining table on the owner’s deck. The flybridge deck, above the pilothouse, features an expansive bar with 360-degree views of the ocean. This expedition yacht also has a large exercise room with tall overhead height to allow full extension of free weights while standing — this space doubles as a massage spa.
MARCATO is located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida with an asking price of $9,980,000 at the time of sale.
