FLIBS 2020 Recap Day 5

Marina Nazario | November 2, 2020

Sunday, November 1, 2020

The last day of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2020 was one for the books. Bright sun and high temperatures brought forth an excellent last day to catch up with guests and meet new friends at the Denison Booth.

The Denison docks were filled with guests who aimed to view as many boats as possible before the booths and displays packed up at 6pm. The 55 Filippetti had plenty of guests touring her 3 cabin layout. She’s powered by twin MAN V8 1200hp engines with Arneson Surface Drives allowing her to reach speeds in excess of 45 knots, with a cruise speed of 40 knots.

When we weren’t at the Denison docks, we went to the Fort Lauderdale Yacht Club, which hosted sponsored events by Denison Yachting. Luxury brands, Bodvar Rose and Audi, worked with Denison to throw a food and wine experience for guests and clients to mix and mingle. We asked Denison Admin Assistant, Tanya Griss how her FLIBS 2020 experience was.

“Going into the show, I thought it would be it would be slow with nothing going on because of covid-19,” said Griss. “But I thought this was our best show ever. We had a lot of interest in our boats and the docks stayed filled.”

We had such a fun time at the boat show. Thank you for joining us in person and from your couch for FLIBS 2020. It’s been a wonderful experience to meet you at the docks and virtually and we’re excited about our future boat shows. See you next year!
