The highly anticipated Swift Trawler 41 redefines the functional seaworthy cruiser by Beneteau. This boat exudes safety and luxury while preserving performance and comfort. As an affordable and spacious new addition to the Swift Trawler fleet, the ST 41 is great on fuel and an excellent trawler for families.

Clever innovations provide a modern and contemporary finish to this 41-foot powerboat. It features all of the essential components of her successful trawler range. After watching Boattest.com’s review, we’re highlighting the key features and performance review of the Swift Trawler 41.

ST 41 Performance Review

Captain Steve from Boattest.com dives into the performance of the Swift Trawler 41starting with the wheelhouse and navigation system on the starboard side. A notable feature is a sliding door, parallel to the console, that can latch open in two positions. This feature provides easy access to the side deck, boarding gate, and midship cleat while keeping hands on the controls. Access from the wheelhouse through the sliding door helps the operator dock the boat easily.

When navigating the boat from the wheelhouse, there is excellent visibility provided by panoramic windows. The windshields are equipped with wipers and a 23-inch brow, which provides shade and knocks down the glare. On the flybridge, the console at the helm accommodates two navigation displays, EVC displays, and analog tachometers.

The Swift Trawler 41 has a fluid and balanced profile. A slender flared out hull means she can cut through the sea with ease. Twin Volvo D4 300 HP engines push the ST41 to a top speed of 24 knots, and a cruising speed of 16 knots. Trawlers are built for long-distance cruising, and the ST 41 can comfortably cruise at 7 knots for 967 nautical miles — that lets you travel from Fort Lauderdale to The Bahamas and back without refueling. Captain Steve reviews the Swift Trawler 41 as a high performing, fun boat to drive. It’s an easy vessel for an owner-operator to own.

ST 41 Features Review

A distinguishing factor of the ST 41 is the aft galley. This positioning creates a better flow through the entertainment zones. The U-shaped galley comes with a double basin sink, propane stove, countertop space, refrigerator, gas oven, and plenty of storage space. In the wheelhouse, the pilot seat rotates, allowing eight passengers to sit down in the salon. The lounge space also converts into a comfortable double berth sleeping space, surrounded by a curtain for privacy.

Below deck, a 3 cabin, 2 head layout comfortably accommodates 7 guests. The master stateroom features a split head to conveniently separate the shower from the toilet. Captain Steve points out that the cabin and toilet doors are gasketed, so they don’t rattle while underway. When you close a door, a magnet forces the latch out, further emphasizing the attention to detail and creative innovation by Beneteau.

The flybridge on the ST 41 is another notable feature. It has a welcoming seating area with two L-shaped benches and an expandable table to enjoy lunch on the water. The spacious aft deck is equipped with a grill, cutting surface, and refrigeration. It’s important to note that this boat is available in a flybridge or a sedan version.

An aft galley, plenty of storage space, and a pleasant atmosphere make the Swift Trawler 41 is an appealing boat for those who enjoy long-distance cruising with family and friends. The Swift Trawler range makes it easy to choose a boat by function rather than by size.
