Palm Beach Boat Show 2021 Day 2 Recap

Marina Nazario | March 26, 2021

Friday, March 26, 2021 | Adventure Travel on 7 DIAMONDS

Day 2 of the 2021 Palm Beach International Boat Show was graced with excellent weather and an excited crowd. The sun shone brightly on the Denison display at the end of Dock 5 as gusts hurried to schedule tours of impressive yachts. A popular yacht among guests is the unmistakable 7 DIAMONDS, a 105′ Numarine built in 2020.

Adventure is limitless on the Numarine 32XP. We stepped on board 7 DIAMONDS at the PBIBS 2021 and spoke with Denison yacht broker Alex Clarke to discuss adventure travel on this Numarine 32XP.

Denison Yachting: Who is a yacht like 7 DIAMONDS perfect for?

Alex: I think we’re seeing a shift in yacht owners. The younger owners are more adventurous. They’re not interested in traveling to your typical Mediterannean and Caribbean destinations, but rather they want to travel to more remote regions. So I think this yacht appeals to a younger generation and to those who are entering yachting for the first time. Those who would rather go kiteboarding in remote regions rather than sipping Champagne off the coast of Monaco.

Denison Yachting: What makes the Numarine 32XP perfect or comfortable for adventure travel?

Alex: The full displacement steel hull with a deep draft makes the yacht more comfortable in less than perfect weather. She also has a large 4,000 nautical mile range that lets her cross oceans, and she can carry a large number of toys on board. The Numarine 32XP is 300 gross tons, which is a large volume for a 105-foot boat. Zero speed stabilizers, plus a bulbous and vertical bow add comfort and performance to this yacht.

Denison Yachting: What are 3 destinations that you recommend traveling to on 7 Diamonds?

Alex: I would recommend Alaska, the polar regions such as Ushuaia, and the Norwegian Fjords. This yacht can get to remote regions of the world that other yachts aren’t able to travel to — which makes 7 DIAMONDS and the Numarine line of expedition yachts perfect for those seeking new adventures.

When you’re not touring 7 DIAMONDS with Alex Clarke at the 2021 Palm Beach Boat Show, check out the rest of the show such as the Aquazone, kids fishing clinic, and 100+ vendors serving everything from wood-fired pizza to authentic street tacos. Purchase tickets to the show here and schedule a tour with Denison Yachting.

Day 3 starts at 10 am. See you on Dock 5!
