The 9X Pershing is quite the looker. With a sleek gunmetal exterior, she looks more like a bullet than a boat, in the best way. The express super yacht has a length of 92 feet, a beam of 20.5 feet, a draft of 5.5 feet, and a volume of 82 gross tons. Anyone can see how stunning this beauty is on the outside–but today, we’re focusing on why “it’s what on the inside that counts”.
Read on to discover the top 5 features of this 92′ Pershing–better known as THE WOLF.
THE WOLF features an exterior design by Ital Projects – Fulvio de Simoni. With a GRP hull and GRP superstructure, she is powered by two MTU 2,638-horsepower engines with low hours and three-year extended MTU warranties. This powerful machinery gives her a cruising speed of 36 knots and a remarkable top speed of over 40 knots. Talk about a power trip!
There is no rocky ride on the Pershing 9X thanks to her twin Seakeeper SK9 gyro stabilizers. Seasickness is literally kept at bay when the Seakeepers (see what we did there?) are engaged, stabilizing the hull to remove shakiness, even in adverse conditions. On THE WOLF, a “rocky road” is just your favorite ice cream.
THE WOLF is US Specced, which means your life has just gotten that much easier. Instead of dealing with switching out components or converting your yacht over time, everything is already all set. Experience easier electrical hook-up at marinas and quicker maintenance of part delivery, among other perks. It’s spec-tacular!
The Pershing 9X can accommodate eight guests in four luxurious cabins. In addition, she can accommodate three crew in two crew cabins. THE WOLF, particularly, includes all sorts of upgrades from the standard–including comfortable carpet in all the cabins, beautiful mosaics in the heads, top-notch television sets, and so much more. Quite accommodating accommodations, if we do say so ourselves.
THE WOLF features one bonus that not every yacht has: a tender. And not just any tender. The Williams SportJet 395 tender included on this yacht is one impressive boat. Beyond ferrying guests to and from the shore, the SportJet can be used to explore corners unreachable by bigger yachts, tow waterskiers and wakeboarders, or just jet around for some fast & lightweight fun on the open water. That’s some real tender loving care.
