Dension is proud to announce that Sarp Yachts, a family-operated shipbuilder known for its state-of-the-art facilities in the Free Zone of Antalya in South Turkey, has become a finalist for the 2023 Boat International Design and Innovation Awards in two categories for its XSR 85 model, the first in the series named EDGE.
Sarp Yachts’ shipyard is specifically designed for the new construction and refit of luxury motor and sailing yachts up to 70 meters in length. The sleek and noteworthy Sarp XSR 85 NB201 features a standard propulsion package as well as a Fast Displacement Hull Form from Van Oossanen; her interior was designed by Red Line. A composite hull and carbon fiber superstructure give her a top speed of 21 knots and a cruising range of 1,000 nautical miles at 12 knots. Her interior layout accommodates up to nine guests and four crew.
The Sarp XSR 85 ‘EDGE’ is officially a finalist for the Boat International Design and Innovation Awards in two impressive categories: Best New Series and Outstanding Exterior Motor Yachts – 24m to 39.9m. Alex G. Clarke, who has been working closely with Sarp Yachts and played a large part in establishing the Superyacht Division at Denison, is thrilled about the news and plans to attend the awards event along with the rest of the Sarp Yachts team.
“I am extremely excited that Sarp has yet another project recognized for a prestigious award, which is a testament to the high pedigree quality and design of their new construction projects. The XSR 85 is truly a stunning platform.”
