New Excess 14 Catamaran to Make North American Debut at the 2023 Miami Boat Show

Following her world debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September 2022, the XCS 14 catamaran will make her mark in the US for the first time at the 2023 Miami Boat Show.

The award-winning catamaran line of Excess knows no bounds, with sleek and stunning models that include the impressive Excess 11, Excess 12, and Excess 15. After her worldwide premiere at the 2022 Cannes Yachting Festival, the XCS 14 catamaran will officially be making her North American debut stateside at the upcoming Miami Boat Show.

San Diego-based Denison yacht broker Kurt Jerman attended the Cannes Yachting Festival for the premiere of the Excess 14 and sold the first boat there. “I was in Cannes this past September for the debut of the latest Excess model to be unveiled,” he commented. “The Excess 14 did not disappoint! The fourth of the new catamaran line from Beneteau Group was all we were hoping for, with exquisite lines, a purpose-built layout, and more. She looked fast just sitting at the dock.”

The large cabin windows allow for 360-degree visibility and amazing viewpoints. The flat wide decks and optional lounge space up top make for a truly comfortable boat at anchor. Down below, the optional starboard forward convertible cabin is unique to the catamaran world and makes so much sense. Instead of an oversized head and shower up front in the owner’s hull, the head and shower are moved off to the side and the forward area is made up to be either a large storage closet or optional dropdown bunks when you have extra family or friends aboard.
