Denison is pleased to announce the newest addition to our team: Nicolas Fry. As the Charter Management Director, he will be based out of our Monaco office, continuing our efforts in our European expansion and the growth of our charter division.
Sharing his sentiments on joining Denison, Nicolas remarked: “I am very excited about this great opportunity to develop, expand, and oversee the charter fleet of Denison Yachting in Europe. I will be sharing my passion for sailing and hospitality with our clients and will make sure we build successful charter programs for their yachts.”
Denison’s Europe Director, Jeremy Roche, will be working closely with Nicolas in Monaco. He commented: “We are delighted to welcome Nico to our growing team in Monaco. Nico has an excellent reputation with clients, is extremely well-respected in the industry, and brings a wealth of experience dealing with some very large yachts. He is integral to our growth strategy and will work to expand our fleet of yachts, particularly above 40 meters.”
Nicolas was introduced to the industry in 2005 when his father bought the 25-meter sailing yacht DJANGO TOO and asked him to help market her for charter. He also has experience working as crew on charter yachts and holds a Captain’s license. This combined experience created the perfect blend of knowledge to work as a successful charter manager, supporting the owner and crew and understanding all their challenges.
Beginning his career in charter management with Camper and Nicholsons, where he worked for five years, Nicolas was responsible for building the charter reputation of iconic superyachts like CHRISTINA O, ECLIPSE, and SULTANA. In 2018, he joined Northrop & Johnson, where he developed the incredibly successful charter profile of the 72-meter SOLO and many other yachts, growing the fleet and the team in Europe.
Now the Charter Management Director for Denison in Europe, Nicolas will oversee the development of our charter fleet and focus on growing charter management operations in the Med. His expertise in building the charter reputation of yachts under his management, through a combination of diverse marketing strategies, personal relationships, and the organization of multiple events, have made him one of the leading charter managers in the superyacht market today. We are honored to have him aboard.
