Top 5 Reasons to Charter ROMEO FOXTROT [Yacht Highlight]

Sarah Nadler | January 31, 2023

Book a luxury yacht charter for your next getaway.

A yacht charter offers an unforgettable vacation, be it a romantic getaway, family holiday, or gathering of friends. The first step to booking a luxury yacht charter is to contact a charter specialist who can help you find the best option depending on your intended destination and number of guests. A specialist can then help you hammer out the details, like mapping out an itinerary, making special requests, or planning theme nights.

For the Caribbean vacation of a lifetime, discover ROMEO FOXTROT, a 116-foot Hargrave tri-deck superyacht that can accommodate ten guests in five luxury staterooms, including a full-beam master suite. ROMEO FOXTROT is currently available for charter in the Bahamas. I got aboard this charter yacht with Captain Chris to get a firsthand feel for this beauty–let’s dive in to discover her wide appeal.

1. Huge Volume

While ROMEO FOXTROT measures in with an overall length of 116 feet, this yacht feels more like a 130′, says her Captain. It’s easy to see what he means. The use of space is beyond clever, including her 7.5-foot ceilings which allow for so much volume. The use of windows throughout the vessel also allows for a ton of light and openness. Many have mentioned when touring this boat that they don’t believe it is a 116′. The advantage of this is that charterers literally get more.

The layout of ROMEO FOXTROT is also worth mentioning. Every bit of space was thought out not only to maximize the use of that space but also to make everything all the more comfortable and easy for charter guests. For one, there is a day head on each level–for a total of four aboard as opposed to the usual two. This comes in handy when guests don’t need to start climbing stairs to relieve themselves, especially when it comes to younger children or elderly guests.

2. Jacuzzi

No charter yacht is complete without the token Jacuzzi on the top deck, and ROMEO FOXTROT is no exception. With sweeping 360-degree views, this waterfall, infinity-style jacuzzi is the perfect place to grab a specialty cocktail and soak in–literally–your surroundings.

The sundeck also has other areas for you to enjoy. There is the bar, for starters, where you can get another drink or two. Saunter over to the oversized sunbed on the bow to stretch out and revel in the sun’s rays. If you continue down, utilize the beach club, where there is a hydraulic swim platform that can open at anchor for sunbathing or just enjoying the view from down there.

3. Accommodations

ROMEO FOXTROT‘s sleek design features a luxury five-stateroom configuration, including a full-beam on-deck master suite. Modern finishes include soft grey and white tones beautifully contrasting the mahogany wooden floors throughout. One of Captain Chris’s favorite parts of this boat is her design, which he calls “simplistic yet elegant.” He especially loves the master stateroom–how can he not?–which features beautiful wooden trimmings for a classic look.

In addition to the breathtaking interior design, he also mentions that all the staterooms have king-sized beds, a feature that is not necessarily available on every charter yacht; it is actually quite rare. This is a great feature for families and couples alike–especially the latter when often one or two couples may feel “ripped off” when they don’t get the master cabin. With five king cabins, it truly is fair to all parties, which means everyone is happy. Not only do the staterooms feature king beds, but they also feel like regular rooms. Touring the boat, it did not feel like we were in cramped cabins, but more like regular-sized hotel rooms.

Another thing to note is that the crew quarters, too, are spacious and comfortable–a huge bonus as that leads to happier, and thus more friendly and helpful, crew.

4. Water Toys & Tender

For a luxury yacht charter at one of the top yachting destinations, the crystal-clear waters of the Bahamas will be calling. To fully immerse, ROMEO FOXTROT features all the water toys you could dream of, and then some. She also features a 32-foot Grady White tender for even more water activities and fun.

Some of the water toys available aboard ROMEO FOXTROT include two inflatable paddle boards, two SeaBobs, two kayaks, two jet skis, a kneeboard, a wakeboard, and snorkel gear. The huge list of opportunities for water-based fun doesn’t end there. There is a towing tube, a towing banana, and even an inflatable dock. But the highlight of this charter yacht is most definitely the waterslide–a hit among both kids and adults aboard.

5. Small Touches

In general, ROMEO FOXTROT features so many little details that may not be noticeable at first glance, but collectively are the key to a seamless, comfortable, enjoyable vacation. For example, in multiple nooks and crannies throughout the boat, there are wine coolers, allowing for the perfect bottle for each occasion to be pulled out effortlessly. There are daybeds on every level, so charterers are able to lay out at a moment’s notice, no matter where they are aboard.

There is even a separate washer and dryer for guests so that guests’ clothing is washed separately and meticulously (especially when it comes to higher-end or sentimental pieces). One of the highlights, though, is the steam room, an added bonus that is not featured on every charter yacht. It is strategically located in the beach club–so as soon as guests slide into the cool water, they can hop aboard and just head straight into the steam room for the ultimate mix of excitement and relaxation.
