I am Will Noftsinger with Denison Yachting and today, we’re in Aventura on Williams Island checking out Motor Yacht FINALLY. This is an 80 Lazzara built in 2004 and it’s one of 20 80’s that were built. It’s one of the only ones that was built with an open bridge and today we’re gonna start up there so you can see what makes that one of the most unique features and why this Lazzara 80 should be at the top of your list.
Welcome aboard Motor Yacht FINALLY. We’re gonna begin today’s tour up here on the fly bridge because this is the most used space onboard the vessel. And as you can see, there’s a ton of amenities that make this space absolutely incredible. This is one of only a few of these Lazzara 80’s that were built without an enclosed bridge configuration. So we’re gonna take some time and point out what makes this one unique and what the current owner did to amplify this space further and hopefully show you why this is the best Lazzara 80 on the market.
All the way aft, we’ve got a wide open space that’s typically eaten up by a tender. The owner added a swim platform about two years ago to this boat and freed this space up further. This is an area on Lazzara that’s already done well because they did this super clever concealed davit that’s part of the bulwark of the boat that frees this up further. This just gives you an awesome amount of sun pad space in the AFT section. Coming forward, we’ve got a little seating area. This is an awesome place to kick back, grab a lunch, hang out with friends. You’ve got some shade from the umbrella when it’s in the up position. Mostly that gives off a really nice ambiance. This is a perfect setting to grab some cocktails and as you’ll see, this is kind of an S configuration as we work forward and it keeps the flow of everybody up on these decks really in line and makes the space very useful.
Over here on the starboard side, we’ve got a hot tub that’s all been reconditioned. It’s got a new liner, it’s in great shape. Over here on the port side, we’ve got the bar and it’s an excellent area for you or your stew to serve when you’re having all the vents on board cause at the end of the day these are all about entertaining and this space does it extremely well. We’ve got an ice maker on the outside, a little bar top, wet bar, a grill to cook up whatever, a couple of sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, what have you. It’s a great space to service though all of the entertaining that will be taking place here. Adjacent, we’ve got a seating area. This table is identical to the one in the back, but it has permanent coverage from the sun. Thanks to this hard top. We’ll mention again, JL audio sound system. One thing to note on this yacht is that there are four zones, so all the zones on board can be controlled independently and actually the aft of this section can be controlled independently of the Ford so that the captain while he is running, is distracted by whatever’s happening on the speakers.
And speaking of captains, let’s focus on where you’re gonna do most of your driving while on board. You’ve got your helm station here, excellent chairs, both studs. This one happens to be a double. All your avionics and electronics are easy hand to touch. They’ve got a nice concealed feature so you drop this whole dashboard down, keeps everything nice and clean and tidy. Got your cat displays. Important to note this boat has cats. It is also extremely fast. This boat will top out around 30 knots. So from here while you’re running, you’ve got a nice sports car feel on a yacht that is much larger than it’s gonna appear to be while you’re driving it. This yacht’s also got a super shallow draft and that is insane for a yacht this size because anywhere you want to go in The Bahamas and have fun is gonna be super shallow and yachts this size are usually restricted by their draft.
Up here, we’ve got our Garmin displays, a 7215 and a 5215, both 15 inch displays, both in good shape. You’ve got your chart plotting, you’ve got your radar, you’ve got your depth sounder, all that good stuff. There’s a backup 5208 here and then a sim rad that was added by the current owner. This has all the cameras in there. There is also a GPS system, so you’ve got tons of redundancy on board this yacht. All in all a really excellent flybridge and a spot you’re gonna enjoy immensely while on board. From here, we’re gonna head down this flight of stairs and check out the galley.
We’re gonna begin inside Motor Yacht FINALLY here in the galley cause this is truly more of a kitchen than a galley. It separates itself from most yachts in our size range and is an awesome feature from a layout standpoint. Not a lot of boats compete with this. Maybe an 80 Hatteras, a couple of other Taiwanese built boats, but that’s it. So this feature is sought after and limited and it gives you again what feels like you’d find inside a home. Focusing in on the galley space. Over here on the port side, we’ve got extra refrigeration that was added by the current owner about a year ago. It still has the stickers on it. You’ve got a trash compactor, granite countertops. Again, all home appliances, so that means a real oven, a nice flush cooktop. Of course, a microwave, a full-size refrigerator and an awesome island that even in a house is something that’s sought after, so it’s a super well equipped galley.
Rounding out this galley is a new dishwasher that was installed about a year ago. We’ve circled all the way around so you’ve got the stairs that we came down up to the flybridge and a really important day head. That’s a nice feature to find onboard any yacht. Up here forward on the port side, we’ve got a little breakfast nook and this is a really excellent area on board the yacht, not just to kick back and have some coffee, but it also doubles as the crew space. If this is a crewed vessel located forward, we’ll see momentarily. You’ve got the crew area and this kind of doubles as their space while onboard. There’s tons of storage forward and you’ve got dropdown electric blinds if you’d like some shape.
Adjacent to the dinette here on the starboard side, we’ve got the lower helm. I like that this area exists on board. It’s nice for inclement weather, but it’s annoying when this is a huge feature that eats up the entire space and Lazzara did a great job tucking it away, giving you a little bit of a scaled back instrumentation level of what you find on the Flybridge. This is a space not used as frequently, but it’s excellent to have when you need it. This has got all the same instruments you find up there, your cat displays, your thruster controls, GPS. There’s also an ISIS monitoring system that will tell you everything that’s going on onboard the vessel with your bilge pumps, with your fuel level, water level, anything like that is found onboard this system. From here, we’re gonna head outside, pop up to the bow and check that out and then continue inside.
Up here on the bow of FINALLY, we’ve got another designated sound system area for the cushions found here. It’s a great spot to have a more secluded area to hang out while you’re traveling or at the docks. You’ve got another lounging area. Excellent place to catch the sun with a little bit more seclusion when you’re in the islands or even at the marina. That gives you a space that’s not quite so out in the open for everyone. This also doubles as an excellent storage area. This entire sun pad lifts up and gives you a huge area of storage, so that’s never in short order on a boat. You need as much storage as possible. The rest of up here kind of follows suit with what we typically find on board. Most of these yachts, you’ve got your anchor, your chute, your windless, all the foot pedals for controlling when it comes to anchoring out when you get to your destination. It’s a well-designed bow space. There’s not a lot of obstacles, not a lot of steps. There’s no teak. It’s just kind of plain and simple for the working deck that they usually are.
We head aft through the formal dining area and into FINALLY’s salon and Lazzara did a fantastic job utilizing this space and maximizing this wide body configuration so it feels larger than it is because of that setup. You’ve got loose furniture and this excellent conversation pit in front of me so you can easily change out whatever you want to your taste and make this boat yours, got new TV, all the smart features you’re looking for. There’s tons of cameras on board, a lot of natural lighting through huge windows for a yacht of this age. That is a fantastic feature and this is an awesome salon that you’re gonna enjoy while you’re on board. We head back forward and check out the formal dining area that’s separated by these pillars. This is a nice space defining feature on board and there’s two things that I look for when I’m onboard a yacht when I’m in this space. One, can I service this area and get around the entire table and the answer is yes and still maintain all the storage that I need for the cutlery and dishware to serve the area which is found in all the cabinetry around us.
As you can see, there’s seating for six in front of me and its current configuration and the owner reconditioned the millwork package on board this yacht. So all of it is in beautiful condition. Welcome to FINALLY’s aft deck. It’s an excellent space and Lazzara thought of pretty much everything that you’d need for an area like this. Great table for all the entertaining you’re gonna do back here. Perfect number of seats. You’ve got the bench seating in the back, there’s storage underneath. Everything looks good, has been freshened up. I’ve got the teak floors underneath my feet. Over on the starboard side, there’s a back down station making your docking situation a breeze. Access up to the flybridge. An awesome overhang, so plenty of shade here. There’s even enough space that if you wanted to enclose this, you could do it. You’ve got the molded in JL Audio sound system above. Those speakers are paired well with this TV, so you’ve got a nice Samsung to kick back. Watch the game, a place for you or your stew to prep drinks. You’ve got some storage, a sink, and a new Vitrifrigo fridge.
Down here on the swim platform, we’ve got a couple of key features that make this a unique 80 foot motor yacht. They added a swim platform about two years ago and that cost roughly $75,000. This freed up a ton of space on the flybridge and gives you a lot easier access for the tenders into the water. Not to mention on either side you’ve got Jet Ski pods, a very unique feature to these Lazzaras and something that won’t go unnoticed. Again, this frees up space up top and makes getting things in and out of the water way easier. From the swim platform area, we’re gonna head through the watertight bulkhead into the engine room. Engine room in this yacht is huge just like every other space. You’ve got walk around access to every side of your cat C30s. These C30s propel the yacht to a maximum speed of 30 knots and at 24, the cruising speed is ideal.
Her current owner cruises comfortably at 23 to 25 knots burning in the upper 80 gallon an hour range. That’s a pretty impressive number for a yacht this size. There’s a total of 2000 gallons of fuel on board and 400 gallons of water. There’s a holding tank with a capacity of 200 gallons, so when you want to get off the grid for a full week at a time, it’s a breeze. You’re never gonna run out of water because there’s a water maker on board located here in the engine room. Most American yacht builders have a mentality of sustainability while on board, so finding things like two generators is clutch. The worst type of thing ever is when you get to a destination and you have your whole vacation planned out only to lose a generator. This allows you to have the backup and continue on your way something that’s really nice to have. Our final stops today on the tour are gonna be the state rooms. All the way forward, you head down a flight of stairs next to the lower helm. Heading down those stairs takes us to the fourth and fifth state rooms onboard the vessel. This is also the crew area. Here we find a washer, dryer and storage as well as two doors that take us to those state rooms.
On the port side, we’ve got the captain’s quarters, which features a larger berth, a desk that doubles as an office and its own en suite. Just forward to that, we’ve got an over under bunk room, which is excellent for crew or if you have young ones on board. This also features its own en suite. If you’re an owner operator, this is an awesome configuration. You’ve got five state rooms on board this yacht, so if you’re a family that enjoys spending time on water during the holidays, you can accommodate everyone with ease. From here, we’re gonna head back up those stairs through the galley into the salon, and next to the dining area. There’s a set of stairs that take us down to the other three state rooms on board. As we step down, there’s a marble foyer that gives us tons of storage and a nice ambiance as well as another washer dryer that’s located here straight ahead. From this foyer heading forward, we’ve got mirror image state rooms that feature a full walk around queen and their own en suite Ford. This millwork package that you saw throughout the boat is continued in here in an excellent condition. There’s tons of storage, nice size hanging lockers and everything that your guests will need to feel like they’re right at home.
Saving the best for last, we head aft into the master state room and it’s a huge master state room. This is a full beam king facing Ford with full walk around access to either side. You’ve got built-in nightstands, you’ve got a makeup desk, a full walk-in closet. Swinging around to the port side, we find one of the largest en suites that you’re gonna see in an 80 foot motor yacht. Check out the space in here.
That concludes our tour today on Motor Yacht FINALLY. The Lazzara 80 is an excellent yacht in all ways when it comes to being onboard and enjoying the spaces. As you saw today, all of them are thought out really well. They give you all the things that a typical American yacht would deliver, but with a sexy, sleek package that you might find on something delivered out of Europe. So this yacht is turnkey and ready to go on the trip immediately. Mechanically, the boat is sound. All it needs is your personal touch, and if you’d like to check it out in person, you can contact me or my wife, Carrie. My name’s Will Noftsinger with Denison Yachting and thanks for checking out Motor Yacht FINALLY.
