Boat Day: Experiencing the LEKKER 44

On a recent day out on the water, the LEKKER 44 proved to be the perfect day yacht.

LEKKER Boats has some pretty impressive models, and its most popular, the LEKKER 44, is one to write home about. Having recently partnered with Denison, the team took this beauty out on the water to experience just what all the rage is about. We knew this day boat would provide the perfect boat day; what we didn’t know was to what extent.

The LEKKER 44 is the ideal yacht for entertaining and socializing. There is tons of space to spread out on the bow; the boat can easily fit 16 passengers for a fun day out on the open water. For a longer, more intimate gathering, the cozy cabin sleeps four. One of the best parts of our boat day with the LEKKER 44 was just how comfortable and spacious it was, even with more than ten people. Everyone could easily lay out, sit in the back and socialize, or hang out on the swim platform when at anchor.

With ample seating and space, the LEKKER 44 has the feel of a much larger boat. As a result of the “larger feel”, the boat is simply built for comfort in every way. It truly has everything you need. The entire bow feels like it’s padded; comfortable sun pads and seating are available in every corner, in addition to the spacious seating aft. The cabin is a great spot to cool off, and the roomy head is another bonus.

In line with comfort, the LEKKER 44 truly is like no other. Thanks to its aluminum construction and overall build, it has an incredibly smooth ride, regardless of speed–which enables adventure when passengers seek it (as we did on our return home). This boat has a presence on the water and knows how to navigate and cruise.

Overall, the self-coined “day yacht” truly is ideal for a day on the water. With plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the sun, the LEKKER 44 offers a mix of relaxation and adventure (those sun pads also provide great cushion when you’re speeding on the water and bouncing over the waves). Its swim platform is great for jumping into the water, even laying out, and especially for dancing to the music blasting from the speakers. Truly versatile, it can be a party boat, a family boat, a romantic boat, or really anything.

In line with the fact that the LEKKER 44 is a perfect day yacht, many small things that you don’t think about that quickly become pain points are easily solved on this boat. There’s a sink, coolers almost everywhere, bottle openers, and even a convenient trash container–it may not sound fancy but when you’re out on the water, having an easy way to throw things out is key. Other amenities include an impressive display, a grill, and an ice maker.

The list of features on the LEKKER 44 is a long one. With so many amenities and comforts, it is clear why this boat is one-of-a-kind. Add to the mix its sleek, and frankly sexy, design, and suddenly it’s clear why so many heads turn when she’s out on the water. We sure got a lot of eyes on us when we were!
