Biography

Nick has loved being on the water ever since he was a child. One day, he decided to make boating his full-time career and has been on the water almost every day since. For the past six years, he has worked as a superyacht engineer and captain, crossing his fair share of oceans and accumulating over 75,000 miles at sea. He holds a 200T USCG Master's license and is pursuing an engineering license from the MCA (UK). Before entering the yachting industry, he spent six years in the energy sector as a mechanical engineer and account manager.

Even today, Nick dedicates as much time as possible to the water. He and his wife own a 42-foot gaff-rigged schooner, built by her father in the 1970s, which operates as a charter out of Olympia. They also own a 33-foot wooden tugboat from 1927, which he still operates as a working tug, along with an 18-foot riveted aluminum fishing boat from 1963 and a collection of other unique vessels.

With his diverse background and passion for the sea, Nick is committed to sharing the joy of boating with his clients.
