When it comes to tropical charter destinations that are only a short hop from Florida, none can compete with the turquoise blue water, creamy white sand beaches, and smiling locals of the Bahamas.
And when it comes to the ultimate Bahamas charter yacht, few can connect guests with the turquoise blue water, creamy white sand beaches, and smiling locals quite like the 105-foot-long Monte Carlo that’s simply called M. Better still, according to New Zealand native Captain Sannoch Clark (who everyone knows as Captain Kiwi), none have a crew that’s dedicated to helping guests experience the sun, fun, relaxation, and natural beauty of the Bahamas quite like M either.
“M is a perfect yacht for the Bahamas because we have a great big sun deck that is split into three areas,” Captain Kiwi says. “The dining area is amazing. The cigar lounge in the middle has four club chairs and a little table. And then behind that, we have a comfortable couch that has an unobstructed view out to the ocean.
“Our chief stew is a ball of fire, and she’s happy and likes making drinks and just making sure the guests are entertained,” he says. “The second stew is the quieter one. She just goes behind everybody and makes sure the place looks immaculate all the time. And our crazy little chef just loves turning out great food.
Sounds like the perfect combination, right?
“M is just one of those boats where you want to be outdoors most of the time because it’s so comfortable. And guests really love the great big swim platform we have. At anchor, we deploy lots of floating toys so they can sit with their feet in the water, and sit and have a cocktail and watch the kids play with the water sports equipment.”
And, oh yeah, there’s a hot tub and plenty of comfortable couches on the foredeck too.
Another cool feature is that both the sun deck and foredeck have sun protection—the sun deck has a retractable roof, while a cool series of fabric sunshades can be deployed on the bow. But as you can see in these photos, guests will love being inside too. The bright and airy main saloon featuring big windows, a bar, u-shaped couch, and widescreen TV is a perfect spot to Netflix-n-chill or gather for cocktails.
Whether you are looking to enjoy moments of serene solitude or lively gatherings with friends and family, M has a spot for every occasion. Guests can enjoy four lavishly appointed staterooms below and a full-beam master stateroom situated on the main deck.
And since Captain Kiwi and crew believe every charter in the Bahamas should be the ideal combination of adventure and relaxation, the armada of toys and tenders guests can enjoy is world-class. Die-hard fishermen will no doubt love to take advantage of the 35-foot-long Pursuit center console that’s equipped with four rods and a selection of lures for the ultimate fishing experience. Advanced water-skiers can carve turns behind the ABJet 390 tender. And the crew is happy to help less experienced water-skiers learn the ropes too.
The yacht also has a Seadoo jetski available if you’re looking to do some speed runs on the surface. And two Seabobs are available if underwater speed is your jam. Guests can practice their golf swing on the aft deck driving range. And don’t worry. The golf balls are made of fish food, so the environment is safe.
Captain Kiwi reports that guests also love to relax in the shade of the inflatable Aqua Party Bana that floats off the stern. And they all rave about the beach set-up that features inflatable chairs, toys, and a BBQ.
But the biggest hit are the flight boards. “The flight boards are the new thing. We have two. We have a more professional version and then we have a more relaxed version where people can learn how to foil. Everybody loves them.”
The old saying goes: “It’s Better in the Bahamas.” But the truth is, exploring the Bahamas is way better aboard the 105-foot-long Monte Carlo M with Captain Kiwi and crew.
