Microsoft’s co-founder Paul Allen had his massive superyacht Octopus commissioned in 2003 by Lurssen. The year after, Larry Ellison the CEO of Oracle, took delivery of the 138 meter Rising Sun which is now owned by David Geffen. Lurssen’s biggest accomplishment is definitely Azzam, the largest superyacht of its time back in 2013. Lurssen continues to innovate by collaborating with only the best in the industry. You will often see naval ships as well as other very special vessels come out of Lurssen shipyards, not just superyachts.
