About Perini Navi Yachts

Perini Navi had an unorthodox entry into the yachting world. Founded in 1983, Fabio Perini was an Italian paper manufacturer and inventor. His passion for sailing coupled with the inability to find a sailing yacht that he could operate single handedly drove him to build his own. At first Perini Navi was nothing but a design studio but by 1988 they began building their own yachts.

What makes Perini Navi different is their focus on building large luxury sailing yachts that can be operated by a small crew. The use of technology has made this possible by allowing sails to be furled and unfurled with the flip of a switch. Notable launches include the massive 88 Meter sailing yacht, Maltese Falcon. The ultra lightweight, relatively speaking, all aluminum 60 meter superyacht Seahawk was a big hit in 2013 and has since then inspired many other builds.
