Professional Yachting Association Christmas Ball in Cannes Attended By the Denison Monaco Team

Our Monaco team shared in the holiday cheer with the rest of the yachting community in the South of France this past December.

In December, as many friends, families, and companies celebrated the holidays with those in their circle, there was another very special Christmas celebration taking place. PYA, the Professional Yachting Association, held its annual Christmas Ball, and the Denison team in Monaco was honored to attend this wonderful event in the French Riviera, as not only members of the association, but partners as well.

According to their website: “PYA Christmas Ball has been one of the biggest and best events in the yachting calendar for 20 years. Attracting over 200 captains, crew and yachting professionals to the prestigious Hotel Martinez in Cannes, it is a night not to be missed!”

“Featuring a cocktail reception, live music, gourmet food, plenty of drinks, fantastic prizes, entertainment, gifts, a photobooth and more, the PYA Christmas Ball never fails to kick off the Christmas season with a bang.” The formal and elegant event requested a black-tie dress code “with a touch of gold”.

Our European office was proud to be included in this exclusive event for the yachting community in the South of France. From Denison’s Monaco team, attendees included Europe Director Jeremy Roche, new Charter Management Director Nicolas Fry, Yacht Broker Pierre Badin, Charter Specialist Caroline Antlett, and Office Manager Natalie Leveille. Denison reserved a table and had a few Captains as our invited guests, and also the Head of Yachting and Aviation from EQUIOM, Ian Petts.

Natalie Leveille, Denison’s Monaco office manager, was thrilled to share her account of the event, including her joy to come together as a team during the holidays, dress up, have fun, and celebrate at the holiday event. While Natalie cited the great live music and phenomenal food, she highlighted the bonds she got to form as a result. “This Christmas dinner was not only a great networking opportunity but also a lovely way to get to know our own team outside of the office! We saw many people from the industry, some who traveled especially for the event.”

Having just joined the team as Denison’s new Charter Management Director, Nicolas Fry shared: “It was my first evening with the team and the possibility to introduce myself and my wife was a very good start. It was a festive atmosphere, and the party became animated surprisingly quickly!”

Charter Specialist Caroline Antlett also commented: “It was a fantastic night and great to spend time with the team in person rather than through zoom!”

Denison is a sponsor and partner of the Professional Yachting Association.  Although we did not sponsor this particular event, we hope to work more closely with them in 2023 and directly sponsor other events with Senior Crew and other key members within the yachting industry.
